Soon to be on Channel Nine, the original and the best.

Will Nine import the HDTV version?

Hang on...I thought it was produced by Disney, not ABC News....if that's the case, how come Nine's got it?

And further more, has Nine even got it? I haven't seen ANY substantiated evidence or proof that the Catch-Up has been axed....if it was, it'd be on the major news sites by now...

Well I think it comes under Nine's ABC News deal.

I'll probably take your word on it, IMDb says American Broadcasting Company and Barwall Productions (I'd assume that's Barbara Walters production company) as the companies involved.

That still doesn't answer my second question...has Nine even axed the Catch Up and brought in the View as yet? If the Catch Up were cancelled, it would be on all the news sites and so on.

I don't think its true and if it was W. would be pissed off after having it for years exclusively.

Don't think it's bad enough to be axed so soon. It ain't perfect but it's early days and has an Australian accent at least, unless your cultural cringe finds that unacceptable. The last thing we need is more American accents, issues and views. They should dump the pointless ticker and make Gore calm down. Her joke today about "rinse cycle" masturbation wasn't so much offensive as downright daggy. That girl just lowers the tone wherever she goes.

Ok. Do you think it will ever make it onto FTA?

Probably not. Mike's got a point.

So Ten is getting The View? Does that mean W. will still show it too?

As stated in the spy report, it will be on ten for 12 months then will be on both.

The View on late nights? How are Ten supposed to get their BB Up-Late SMS revenue off The View? hyper.gif

Realistically, Ten could air it at 2pm weekdays when there's no new eps of RSC, or maybe during the summer from 9-11am as a replacement for David and Kim.

Unless 9am was shortened from 9am-10.30am. Ten News at 10.30am and The View at 11am. But realistically I think RSC will be replaced with it when there are no new episodes.

Judge Judy has been replaced by infomercials, so maybe there's no more JJ. They could move Huey's Cooking Show to mornings and revamp the afternoon line-up.

The Catch-Up was axed. It has been off for a couple of weeks now and it was even in the Spy Report.
