Well I started this topic for me, but other people might benefit. I have recently fallen in love with the tunes behind the 'my choice' panadol advertisements. I have looked forever and cannot find them anywhere. This might be the wrong place or whatever, but I was wondering if anyone might have the tunes or just the advertisements themselves. Thanks guys!

Should put this in the help desk section.

Why? It's a topic for discussing ads, which last time I saw were on television.

ChrisO is asking for a tune therefore is asking help therefore should be put in the help desk.

I think this thread fits the bill: http://www.mediaspy....?showtopic=2430.
Just because he was requesting something doesn't mean we can't use it to talk about advertisements is what I meant.

I rather like the City of Melbourne ad that they've been running for a while now. I like this AFL one too (northern states viewers probably won't have seen this):

Here's the Melbourne ad I was talking about, for the benefit of interstate folks - it's kind of cute:

I was just thinking about that Melbourne ad, it really does make me want to go to Melbourne...

The SA Brilliant Blend ads are dreadful.

I remember seeing something for SA but I can't remember what. Evidently they didn't work too well then..

At least they are putting the money in regions outside of the area... Here, our "Shepparton Show Me" committee had 60% of its TV budget set for the local region. Oh and don't get me started on their other ads reminding us on their "Show Me" efforts crazy.gif

That one's great! Stirred up a bit of controversy though, although in the end the prudes lost out.

Speaking of controversy, how about this advert from 1987?

AIDS Commercial

I loved that one! There was a rather funny Yellow Pages one earlier, during World News Australia.

Does anyone know what year the first Jetstar tv ad ran in?
The long original version with Magda in the parade (i think it was)
