It’s sad how Wile E. Coyote is remembered for his crappy ACME gadgets, and not for his brilliantly realistic paintings of tunnels.

Finally, a completely random post. Even better is the fact that it gave me a case of teh lulz

You know they're making a film about their portrayal of ACMA Corp? I can't remember where I read it though....

Does it cover the Helen Coonan years?

I was meant to say ACME not ACMA. I thought I said ACME.

ARGG, what's happened to Hotmail, why does it look like Gmail? I have to say I'm not a fan of Gmail's layout with the ads blending into your inbox. I think Hotmail have done a much better job with the colour scheme to differentiate parts of the page.

I stopped using Hotmail and Yahoo Mail a couple of years ago. Only use Gmail. I do have a Windows Live id using Gmail but very rarely use it.

Yeah, I'm the same as newtaste. Used to be an avid Hotmail user, but I made the switch to Gmail when they brought in those ugly cartoon themes for Hotmail (and the rest of the WL suite). Made it painful to use and they removed a lot of features from Hotmail (like the right click menu that was introduced in the switch to Windows Live).

Never gone back to Hotmail since. I still have a Windows Live ID though that gets used for various things, mainly Messenger, but I don't even use that anymore since everyone moved to Facebook.

How do you make the switch? Is it possible to get emails rerouted to your new account?

I tried to log onto my hotmail account recently (after 12 months or so of me not logging in) and it had been suspended for spam abuse.. the whole hotmail system is woeful in its spam-dealing capabilities compared to gmail.

Yeah. You can do it either by automatic forwarding set up on the Hotmail account itself, or what I did was set up POP3 access on Gmail to fetch mail from my Hotmail accounts.

Gmail has features to import mail (and contacts as well, I think) from Hotmail accounts.

As for the Windows Live ID, I just went to a random Windows Live site and clicked sign up and used my own account to create an account.

I guess I just don't want to have 2 email accounts open, I'd prefer to have everything transferred over to Gmail.

I have quite a few email accounts... one for friends, one for crap, one for shopping etc it means I don't get spammed as much as the shopping/crap email accounts I couldn't care less about whereas the friend one is kept private... all I have to do is log into the crappy ones once in a blue moon to stop them being suspended and if they get too spammed, I walk away and create a new one.

I have one account that I did my best to see if I could get it spammed and it worked - it gets about 900 emails a day about viagra, lonely Russian brides, mail order degrees. Just did it for the fun of it.

Hissyfit over pyjamas delays Qantas flight

Hissyfit over pyjamas delays Qantas flight

Two first class passengers threw a tantrum on a Qantas flight and refused to fly – all because the airline did not have pyjamas in their size.

The bizarre incident delayed the flight's take-off from Los Angeles to Melbourne on Friday, to the bewilderment of the other travellers on board, the Herald Sun reports.

The pair, both Australians, kicked up a fuss when they were told there were no XL-sized first-class pyjamas.

They were offered business class sleepwear in their size, but the unhappy campers were not satisfied and demanded to be let off the plane.

And before they disembarked, they insisted the rest of the passengers be told the reason for the delay.

"In his mind, he thought everyone sympathised with him. If you didn't laugh you would have cried. It was unbelievable," business class passenger Angela Ceberano said.

She said everyone burst into laughter when the captain made the announcement.

"He said: 'Just to inform you all, the reason we've had the delay is because two of our first class passengers refused to fly on this plane as there was no extra large pyjamas on board for them'."

Their luggage then had to be offloaded before the A380 could leave Los Angeles.

Qantas spokesman Luke Enright confirmed the incident but would not elaborate.

Really? If they don't have clown pant sized pyjamas for the sumo sized passengers you can delay a flight? They could have just given him two pairs of pyjamas and a sewing machine...

This scenario is what is so wrong about the world we live in right now.

People and their sense of entitlement are so beyond ridiculous. And they have no idea.

Well back on the site after 8 days in Tanzania.. everyone should do a safari at some time.

http://en.wikipedia....nservation_Area

In Cape Town now, bloody cold! Tanzania is nice, but I don't miss the frequent power blackouts, no TV or electricity in the Serengeti and I sure don't miss living in a tent with a hole in the ground for a toilet.

Lived on this the whole time!

People actually wear pyjamas??? Let alone on planes? Maybe those passengers can transport themselves to 2012 instead of 1962......
