The nudity and sex was very confronting. A very well made drama series with great acting. I can imagine that this show probably has a small budget because it's on Foxtel but it looks brilliant. It makes you wonder why we don't make more Australian series as well as this.

Beacause drama is costly vs probable numbers it would return in ratings. Can't see this working on FTA.

a loveable show with easy bonding with the characters & a feel of the journey is conveyed. much better than too busy camera work & thumping hard music to make up for script deficiencies.

the girls are all so fit... Bo has really turned that bod into spoontness. Maddy & Di are stunning as well , Peta is a godess haha

Grrrr! A neighbour came around here to show my mother some plates, and she ended up seeing the first 20 minutes of tonight's episode. She told my mother, "I can't believe you let them watch pornography." I'm now trying to fish out the Green Guide article to prove it's not porn. And this isn't the first time this has happened - she visited while I was watching Y Tu Mamá También on World Movies.

Good ep by the way - Nicholas Bell's Alexander is an interesting character. They could have made him a punch-line, but I felt his story was quite moving actually (I mean, some of it was humorous, but we weren't laughing at him). And my god - telling your kid you had cancer... Bloody hell that's gonna come back and bite her.

I saw that Movie, not bad - World Movies does show it every week though it seems

I got the Season 1 DVD over the weekend, plan to start watching Over the weekend hopefully - I only caught 4 episodes whilst Showcase was still a 'trial' channel for the first month....I really enjoyed it but didn't take up the showtime package - glad to have DVD's around makes everything simple - was such an intriguing show.

Another waste of money.

It's another Australian show that has a great premise, but ultimately fails when it comes to execution.

It really does glamourise prositution, which is quite disturbing, promoting that women are on top through sex only and are sexually liberated whores that love getting orgasms from strange men even if they are a lesbian. That is utter bullshit and those women that do do it for sexual thrills would be few and far between.

It's great for female power and all, but what a poor vehicle to showcase it. Slutty, shallow women thinking they are powerful because they control men through sex when in reality are just filthy cows making the buck the eaisest way, selling yourself. Way to go girls, whoring yourself all the way.

I'm not surprised Bojana jumped ship. On the bright side, I guess another season can pay for yet more plastic surgery for Madeleine West.

At least showcase had the balls to do something out of the box.
Oh and Corday, get out of the 1950s and it's no worse than Sex and the City.

I'm sure the female doormats love this sort of programme, but I bet you anything the proper feminists, lesbians and generally anybody that isn't over thirty, fat, a loner, sexually frustrated or just desperate to see some tits and arse are over this crap, which is exactly what it is.

I assume you must be deaf, I applauded the intent.

I never made a sex and the city comparison, Satisfaction at least trumps that tripe, but that isn't hard to do.

Why because I object to it you assume I have a mentality of the 1950s? I don't object to the sexual themes and nudity, I object to the themes it is presenting and glorifying a profession that is steepled in abuse, drugs, rape and sexual assualt.

They make prositution look like a walk in the park.

I actually agree with Corday (for once) on some levels. Whilst I enjoy the series, I am a little concerned that they're glamorizing prostitution. I doubt the real world of prostitution is really this rosy. Hey, but it's only a drama & not meant to be taken seriously.

I don't think its glorifying, from the limited amount of episodes I have seen they have shown the downsides to it (bad private lives etc...). I also am reminded that brothels are not illegal and women are free to do what they want with their bodies - something feminists fought for surely.
