Yeah I agree it is a little misleading.

I have a sense of humour... but I really don't see how anyone can perceive that headline as being humourous. It's really just a lame, and as mentioned - misleading title.

I can't help but think that if all you have to complain about is a headline, we're doing things pretty well.

I do.
The article and the headline stays. We aren't here to "satisfy everyone" - we're here to report interesting media news in the way we see fit. If you don't like it, that's cool, and you should let us know so we can take the advice into the way we go about things in the future, but the minute we change headlines that are a few hours, or day or so old because people don't like the way it sounds or reads is the day we all give up. It just becomes silly.
Now, as TGIF or whatever his name is this week suggested, let's move on!

On the topic of your earlier question - yes, I think station movements would be a good idea. You talking about the sort of thing that gets reported in Jocks Journal? If so, I think that's a good idea. Would like to see something like that here.

However, the way the headline is structured makes it sound like Gretel is already on the show, and has been given the axe. That's why we said it was misleading.

yep, like Mal Lewis has been appointed Program Director of GOLD Melbourne... those sort of things, mostly for the bigger markets, but if something interesting from Deniliquin or Bunbury occurs, you can read it too.
It's what I'm starting to do as of today as well.

Oh, but I just realised something that perhaps should be changed about the headlines - full names please. Sure, Jones made me first thing of Alan Jones, but there's definitely a few media personalities that share last names. In the paper they have to keep it short because there's limited room - not so much the problem here.

I'm sorry, but I have to call you out on this one. Duopoly is entirely the wrong word for this. Duopoly implies that there are only two suppliers in the market, which is not the case at all when analysing Brisbane radio, where there are many. Even if 4BC and 4BH were the only stations in town, I think even then Duopoly would be incorrect as Fairfax owns both, which would give Fairfax monopoly. But that's not really relevant at all.
Usually I'd let a wrong word slide, but in this case duopoly is not just used out of context, but is frankly misleading.
