One of my favourite things about Q&A, someone heckles and someone else yells out 'shut up!'.

I watch Q & A most weeks, but having the whole thing dedicated to MORE Julia and MORE waffle about the carbon tax ensured I did not make it past the first 2 minutes tonight. snore!!!

Not that you're closed-minded mind.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong

No i'm not, I enjoy listening to and thinking about the DEBATES that are on their each week between the different sides. There was no DEBATE tonight, simply Julia reading her scripted PR spin again. We've seen it all countless times before and the amount of people on their facebook page highlighting how fake she was tonight suggests to me there was nothing new...

My question to the PM last night, which I didn't get a chance to ask due to time constraints.

Do that sexy thing you do with your tongue. Yeah. Talk intelligently and at length. Reow

I do find it odd how much time they spent on video questions if you have an audience full of people there to ask questions directly.

They had 25 questions in the audience. They only got through 12.

Perhaps Tony Jones is trying to play Devil's Advocate, but a few of the comments he's made over the last few programs have been quite snide. Sort of over-simplifications of guest's points aimed at getting ridicule-based laughs from the Audience. Not noteworthy in isolation but it seems to be a bit of a pattern I haven't picked up on before. There was also a strange moment when Gillard made a (lame) joke about him being a Scientist in some scenario, and he seemed to take it literally and shot it down with a comment like "no, that's not right" or something to that effect.

I think Gillard performed better this Q&A than her last appearance. She got her political message out in a clear and effective way while managing not to sound as robotic as she usually does, something we saw taken to its extreme in her National Address. I'd like to see Tony Abbott there, some scrutiny of his policies is sorely needed. The next time a journalist just nods and moves on when he says "Direct action with better soils and more trees" in response to a question about Climate Change I think I'll scream. Hopefully he accepts their invitation.

Tony playing Noni's 'Go the fvck to sleep' video should get her a spot on Can of Worms!

She was good ay!
On a more pedantic note, the current maroon backdrop looks dull. Tonight the lighting behind Tony's section of the set looked quite bright and gave it a more vibrant red look, which looked lively and contemporary.

No wonder Rudd failed as PM with that media adviser on last nights programme.

It was a very unorganised, and uneventful night.

I don't think I've seen that much cleavage from an ABC host in quite some time!
