Discussion pertaining to Nine News' Presenters and Reporters is to be undertaken in <a href="http://www.mediaspy....howtopic=15873" target="_blank">this thread</a>.
The old Nine News thread can be found <a href="http://www.mediaspy....showtopic=2337" target="_blank">here</a>.

whilst a totally sexist comment I still would have to agree.
It's just so much better than looking at Tim Bailey for some reason...
I noticed an article in Mediaweek that had the news directors of Seven, Nine and Ten hitting back at criticisms from Ray Martin at the Andrew Olle Media Lecture last week. In that article, John Westacott was going through the news production Nine does, and said that the digital news production suite would be up and running "from this week".
Perhaps thats why I saw a few countdown slides on NBN News last night, complete with the old "Nine in a box" logo.

For some reason I thought TV stations would have already used a system like that. Nowadays tapes feel incredibly cumbersome!

Yes I agree, the raised top makes the desk look really tall! But apart from that, I quite like the changes.

... Mind you i cant help but think of that desk in the same way i think of Marge's Chanel suit in The Simpsons - why it has gone through quite a few touch ups it has!
