lol... good analogy.

That's a nice looking set - I wish Sydney and Melbourne could adopt the same style. Bruce and Heather (without slipping too much into the personalities topic) are good presenters too. Overall, it's a very nice bulletin.

Just wondering if anyone has a copy of the Updated version Of N9N theme?

Because it seems they have added a bit more grunt to the theme and it is also shorter.

It's the same as the one used for the billboards.

He's referring to the theme, not the logo.

Yeah I mean the theme not the logo.

Although its the same its shorter and they have given certain parts more grunt.

Having seen a more 'night' opener in a news update with Michael Usher I must say the opener looks even better when the city shots are at night.

Would it have been David Gyngell's or John Westacott's decision to get rid of 'National'??

Is this so that you know who to send the anthrax to?

Probably some sort of focus group somewhere.

As TGIF said, it probably would have been a unanimous decision, but David would have had the final call.

I hope Nine act to make sure their news survives in the future with the internet revolution and all.

I heard some statistic that the only Nine News bulletins where very popular, don't know how true this is though.

For some reason I just like getting my news from Nine and nowhere else, probably still living in the days more Australians got their news from Nine than from any other source.

Just commenting that I heard somewhere that they're actually watched - didn't expect them to be though.

Nine had a report a while ago that they were now the #1 news website in Australia - and that live streaming of bulletins and press conferences helped push them over the line.
