Buried deep in a lengthy feature on Cardinal George Pell in The Good Weekend, is the revelation that Paul Bongiorno studied to be a Catholic priest with Pell at Corpus Christi seminary in Werribee in the mid 1960s, then they studied together in Rome. Doesn't say if 'Bong' was ordanied as a priest or not.

Matt is moving into Hamish Macdonalds field with his special investigations reports ,which is good for Ten.Matt has said doing this report was one of the most challenging and inspiring of his career.Yup Matt is still over in the Philippines.

Noticed the other day that sports reporter Nathan Templeton is now with Seven - presented a piece on Black Caviar during their 4:30 news bulletin. His twitter account is gone, too.

The Perth bulletin has the new Perth city skyline behind the presenters tonight.
And it's feeling very rushed tonight. Matt and Natasha have both made errors on all of the first 5 stories they've read.

Not sure.
The thing that annoyed me was the slouch she also does on The Project desk and also all the adlibbing (sp?) she was doing whilst reading stories and introducing the other presenters.
I dunno maybe that's what they are going for but Matt was all professional and she was all over the shop (for Perth anyways).
I forgot to mention yesterday when they crossed to Matt Moran the new Perth skyline changed bak to the national imagine and then back to the Perth one suggesting they added footage from an earliest bulletin?
