It is noteworthy... because it was so unusual.... The intro appeared to fail and sandra seemed a bit caught off guard and appeared to make up the intro on the spot.. For a moment I thought they were going to breaking news or something but they didn't.
After sandra introduced herself they just went straight to the first story without the normal sports tonight preview or anything...

What's the point of Belinda Heggen doing it for a few weeks anyway? They should have just had Esther for the whole time considerting Belinda has a regular presenting stint in Sydney.

No - it's presented from Melbourne, so they've had to send Belinda down there for the time she's doing the Adelaide news.

No, Melbourne. It's filmed in Melbourne.
I don't see the harm in having Belinda build a rapport with the audience - that or Esther might not come in and present until it's holidays and Peter Sellen is presenting as well.

Why build up rapport with the Adelaide audience, when she's a Sydney reporter and presenter?

She was a long-time Adelaide reporter. I hadn't realised she'd left the city altogether.

Plus Belinda is a familier face (to an extent) with the Adelaide audience, and i guess they just want to give her plenty of experience and the space was free.
