I've seen heaps of promos saying that the Biggest Loser Finale is on Tuesday. Besides they've never advertised the Biggest Loser Finale for Monday, so I don't see a problem.

Ten's primary channel was 4th last week, eclisped by ABC1 by 0.8%.

Eclipsed is a pretty big word for a .8% loss.
Either way it isn't a good result!

Promos are not the only way viewers know when programs screen. Having the wrong day/time in program guides has some impact.

Looks like the rocket scientists in the Ten programming dept didn't learn their lesson from deciding to run NCIS at 8pm last week judging by next week's schedule for Wednesday:

7.00 MasterChef
8.15 Offspring
9.15 The Good Wife

Seriously, how hard could it be to pad out MasterChef another 15 minutes?

I don't think that's a fair comparison, it's quite a different scenario. Seems like they're trying to retain as much of the MasterChef audience as possible by keeping the start times out of sync with competing programmes.

So will Offspring need to be trimmed to a PG slot too. What a bunch of halfwits.

which also means people can't switch over from other channels to Offspring without missing at least the first 15 minutes which will probably mean they won't bother.

Seven and Nine have done some mind boggling scheduling in their time, but Ten these days are taking it to a whole new level of ridiculousness.

Hawaii Five-0 is gone replaced with NCIS rpts at 8:40 and NCIS LA bumped to 9:40.
I think this is a very smart move. NCIS might not do well to begin with but should build.

15 minutes TEN are serious about not being able to edit these episodes to fit to either 60 or 90?!? Dont commission 70/75 minute episodes when you've got no content!
815 is a fucked starting time and Offspring
Is an adult drama WTF?!?

Idiotic. No wonder they're a distant third.

These starting times are bizarre. However I have noticed this week that Ten seem to be running very close to their advertised times; not just the over the air EPG but the original advertised times. So far this has applied to Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - usually within 5 minutes.

When do the programs advertised really start? Most Seven programs start around 7:38 and then 8:39 - 8:45 and the Block seems to run 9 or more minutes late each night. As has been stated before, the programs that cause this are pre-recorded and the run time would be known.

Ten could easily publish 8.00 or 8:30 start times and just run late as well. Is this a conscious effort to address one of the biggest peeves of viewers or am I getting my hopes up?

The complete lack of foresight at ten is showing. They moved the reality shows to 7:00 but didnt make any plans for the 8:00 slots, trying to get over the line with filler content and toggling timeslots.

Hello

Just a couple of notes I have seen people talk about. The first is the return of the series Numb3rs to the schedule. The show actually finished its run in America in March 2010 and there is talk whether the final season had ever been aired by Ten. Only the first 4 episodes of the final season have been previously screened, the rest are unaired here. So you will see repeat signs next to the first few episodes and then premiere after that. There are 16 episodes in the season.

Also 'House' returns to the schedule and will air on Saturday nights at 9:30pm with double episodes from May 26th. This was in their guide so I am not sure why this has not been previously reported. They would have about 6 weeks of double episodes to play for the series to end.

What an undeserving timeslot for House... Such a great series.

Not a smart move with only two episodes to go in the current season of Hawaii Five-O. Ten may wait until after The Voice finishes before showing the episodes (perhaps in one night?).

9:30 Saturdays? Bloody hell. Play it out 9:30 (or 9:15, 9:10, 9:07:30, whatever) Wednesdays FFS. Let it out on some sort of a high at least >.<

I hate how badly Ten, Seven and Nine treat the final seasons of their shows. Ten with House, Charmed, Medium and Numbers, Seven with Desperate Housewives and Nine with various of their shows. These shows used to rate very well for their respective networks once upon a time and should be shown more respect.

Great another week of not knowing when shows will start on Ten. The mind boggles as to which drugs the programmers are on over there at pyrmont.
