To me, this new look doesn't breathe any authority and rather treats the forum as a light, airy, fluffy place to be around. Just my personal opinion.

Oops missed a bit.

That doesn't appear to me as an admin since I can post in locked topics anyway.. but I'll try and get it fixed.

Looks good.
Only thing I miss is those nice looking graphics on the top of the page.

If you go to this link and do a hard refresh (Cmd-Shift-R in Firefox) then it should update with the new icon.

...along with a revamped Media Archive.

If I can ask, how is it being revamped?

The orange and green are a nice combination, but for some reason the different elements aren't coming together. The text looks very harsh and jagged. Also, what's the difference between a coloured mediaspy logo and a coloured media spy logo with the circle in orange?

Is all the information under a person's avatar really necessary? Also, will the 'Latest news from The Spy Report' banner contain headlines, it seems alittle pointless having it only redirect to the Spy Report page when only just across is the link to the main Spy Report page.

We're separating it back from the wiki so it will be its own site.

That will indeed become a headline, but I've made it a link for now because if it's not there the layout goes a bit funny.

Reminds me of one of the very old skins.

However, I think the purples go nicer with the orange compared to the greens.

It's pretty close to the shade of Green which Bunnings use - make the orange a little redder, and there could be a lawsuit... :D

I agree. I propose that to increase the authority of this site design, we ought to introduce bold new colours, the stripy globe, some snazzy minute-long promos, and Ron Wilson.

The older design had more authority and class.

This new design looks more like a homemade television blog.

Would prefere the older look to continue, but either way i'll still continue visiting.

Can the post text be changed to black or a darker grey? Whilst I'm able to read it, it could be an eye test for others - plus it's slightly harder to read than the usual black.

You're on Internet Explorer, aren't you?

Seems to be a bug with that browser at the moment. I'm going to fix it tomorrow.

In the meantime join the rest of us in the 21st century and download yourself a modern browser :)
