Being a man who dosn't earn a big wage, A Good TV is a big purchace & watermark coverup memory burn is the biggest sin a TV station can commit as far as I'm concerned.I think here in NBN land I would be quite happy with 'crappy cover ups' if it meant a better news service... this is one area where I reckon WIN has a significant advantage over NBN.

I'm pretty sure the news plasma's at 9 also suffer from the same thing, I've seen them using the white screen in some behind the scenes videos.

Unlike NBN who trim their 1 hour combined bulletin to just 30 mins (meaning that the already basic local news coverage in the hourly bulletin is further halved).
I wouldn't be at all worried if WIN (or NBN for that matter) dumped it permanently (or moved it to late nights)... I agree that it certainly isn't the program it once was with Jana Wendt.

Another alternative would be for ACA to move to GEM or GO! in WIN/NBN areas, like what 7TWO in Regional QLD do to Today Tonight. With Regional NSW being digital-only from the end of this year (Regional VIC & QLD are already digital-only), it may not be such a ridiculous thing to do.

No, I Live in NBN Land & My TV's fine. I just see the WIN Burn on TV's in Motel rooms when I go on the roadYou've bought a crap TV if that's occurring. We have multiple TVs and none of them have that issue.

Apparently Both WIN & 7 Toowoomba's Goondiwindi relays break up all the time due to lack of signal from Pachendale Southern Downs

Why hasn't WIN realised that their ‘still to come’ promo v/o says coming to 9, yet ends with the WIN logos..
that's nothing, the NBN "Still to come" promo on YouTube has been "blocked because it features material owned by Channel 9" - despite them being the same company <bangs head>

Why do P and C rated programmes have the luxury of a 'programme can be seen at the special time...' notice and other bumped programmes don't? Would save a lot of headaches for those viewers at the mercy of networks' erratic scheduling.Win's "program will not be shown today" screens:

If Gordon was successful, would we see any changes to WIN and 9?Gordon, who currently holds a 14 per cent stake in Ten Network Holdings, has been investigating a bid for the company, The Australian Financial Review reports. The television mogul has reportedly begun work with advisers at KPMG, and is seeking discussions with Nine owners CVC Asia Pacific.

They must show a minimum number of hours of content with these ratings. It doesnt matter if a G/PG/M rating program gets dropped, but if its a P or C rated program it must be rebroadcast at another time to continue to meet quota requirements. Why do P and C rated programmes have the luxury of a 'programme can be seen at the special time...' notice and other bumped programmes don't? Would save a lot of headaches for those viewers at the mercy of networks' erratic scheduling.
