They'd be better having "Peter Overton & Danielle Post" rather than Greg Thompson. Greg just does sport, this makes him sound like a newsreader and it makes it seem as if the local news goes for 60 minutes, not acknowledging the Sydney bulletin.

Which was partly the reason why Prime Local News failed in Newcastle, Wollongong & Canberra: they didn't promote the fact that Seven News is on at 6:30pm after the local news.

Danielle Post presenting Wollongong/Illawarra bulletin. Why isn't she presenting in Canberra?

Its it not coming from Wollongong? Different sports presenter too. That's not the Wollongong desk so its coming from Canberra

She is reading the Canberra news tonight. I wonder if she's reading Canberra's news from Wollongong, or vice versa? Is Greg Thomson reading your sport?

Yes, local Sport.

Maybe something happened in Wollongong so they had to prerecord the bulletin from Canberra.

Yep, or maybe WIN is rolling out a replica of the new Queensland set, at it's Wollongong studios?

new Queensland set,

Didn't know they had a new set. An actual set or a key?

Like a montage highlights video? I don't have the weather or closer.

More to do with both presenters having school aged children and wanting to spend some of the holidays with them.

Wonder why Michaela Gray didn't present then, since she does the late ACT/NSW bulletin.

Too busy filing reports for the bulletin to add presenting all the bulletins that come out of the Wollongong studio to her workload. They operate with minimal staffing and wouldn't be able to spare her.

Haha Funniest thing I read all year:

SPREAD THE WORD: One of Win's microphone boxes fell out of our car and onto the road at the roundabout outside Win News on Hammond Avenue at about 10:30 this morning. We ran to it but someone in a late model, white Toyota Camry stopped, picked it up and drove off. The number plate starts with PB. If you or anyone you know has it, please do the right thing and return it. No questions asked. We really need it.

The weather report has been completely redesigned here in Queensland on Monday to coincide with the airing of Meteorologist Hannah McEwen's first bulletin.
