Doesn't explain Californication though. Ten/Eleven aired it first before it went on Showcase.

They should air Old Skool Simpsons before 9am, they don't get much airtime anymore. Ten/Eleven have only aired 1 episode outside of primetime in 21 years. I doubt they'll start now.If they want more people watching the should slip an episode of The Simpsons in there.
I was wondering on the future of Toasted TV, glad to see it will move to Eleven.

As I've noted before - and why this is still rubbish on Eleven's part is simply that they still are cramming too many shows in slots that just aren't long enough, resulting in massive cuts in runtime all to chuck in more of the largely advertorial content of Toasted TV itself - and a relatively high proportion of ads.In an excellent move for kids, Toasted TV extends to 3 hours from Feb 27 and will now air on Eleven.
Though it's positive in a way that Ten continue to invest in Eleven in the way they do, doing stuff like this helps cement Eleven as being the best executed of the commercial multichannels. As well as leading in local content - however crap it may be.

I am really glad that Ten chose to keep TTV around, despite the fact I think it's utter crap in comparison to the old days of Cheez TV

Is Toasted TV still been shown on Saturdays? it sounds more like the weekend series, have just been combined with the weekday series.
Also at least half the series (Bakugan, Beyblade, SpongeBob Squarepants) are still only repeats.
Toasted TV frequently cuts several minutes from episodes, to allow more time for commericials and Toasted TV segments. The cuts are always during the commericial breaks, so these cuts aren't related to the rating of the timeslots.@Moe: not sure what the issue exactly with runtimes are in regards to Toasted TV. I haven't watched since my early teens, though it always seemed to be fine at slotting in animations in half hour slots with a few minutes of Toasted TV content in between. Same deal with Cheez TV. And I'd assume the same deal for Couch Time in the afternoons.
I doubt it will make any difference, as Toasted TV don't seem interested in showing any decent anime series. Naurto never got past season 1, since it rated more for teenagers, than younger children for example. So with Toasted TVs move to Eleven, PG cartoons/anime (which would have previously been cut/not shown) can now be aired.

Agreed. I almost never watch Toasted TV (I'm hardly their demographic, and if I wanted to watch a few 'toons, I've got Foxtel for that!), but it's good to see that there's an alternative to Sunrise/Today/Breakfast/ABC News Breakfast for school age kids. With only ABC3 as real competition (the kiddy shows on ABC1 and ABC4 Kids are mainly for kids under 6), Toasted on Eleven should go well.Good to see that it will continue on Eleven (not that i watched Toasted that much), but an alternative for children other than breakfast news tv is a good thing.
