so perhaps MKR and the return of DH didn't perform as well as hoped? What was on Nine last night?

And TBL and the return of GNW hasn't done Ten any favours either by the looks? Although it may have done better with its target demos

seven will be devastated with that, they would have been hoping for huge numbers for MKR given all the promotion during the tennis, that said, viewers can tell when a show is a complete rip off of another and MKR is sort of an odd combination of Masterchef and Come Dine with me, that said, i quite enjoyed it.

The Oztam figures last night had Biggest Loser going for 2 hours from 7.30pm-9.30pm, then Good News Week from 9.30pm-11.30pm and Ross Noble after that. I don't know why. I'm not sure if the top shows released today will reflect the correct times, or the incorrect ones. Just thought I would bring it to everybody's attention.

Would Seven be at least pleased to see a reasonable demographic showing, even if total people are down? Nine would have to be disappointed that some of their strongest youth-performing series ('2.5 Men' & 'Big Bang') couldn't get them over the line with the demos.

TEN held up well with all demographics on what wasn't the biggest of nights for itself. Strange to see 'GNW' actually build, rather than lose, it's lead-in 'Loser' audience. Sluggish night for the timeslot newbie.

Looks like new eps of 2 and a half men and Big Bang won the night for Nine!

So we'll be seeing 10 episodes of 2.5 men each week for the rest of 2010 - hallelujah!

Bath v Overton, I wonder who won last night. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

According to my calculations Two & A Half Men at 7.30pm did around 1.5 million! Very strong night for Nine in Sydney (Nine 28.3%, Go! 1.7%) and Melbourne (Nine 30.1% Go! 2.3%), but not so much in Adelaide (Nine 23.2% Go! 3.4%).

I don't think Seven would be too happy with the result for MKR. After the huge promotion during the tennis, there would have been a lot of sampling last night, and you would think not everyone will stick around for ep 2 tonight. MKR could drop below a million sooner rather than later...and Seven could end up with a HomeMADE scenerio.

Loser dropped considerably from the premiere last night, but because the show is on every night, it usually fluctuates a lot in the first few weeks. Up against the much hyped MKR and demo competition from TAAHM and BBT, I'm not surprised that viewers sampled other shows knowing that it will still be there every night for the next couple of months. Good 16-39 demo night for Ten, and competitive in 18-49 considering their low total people share.

According to my calculations, Seven News in Sydney did around 342,000 and Nine News in Sydney did around 323,500. DoND in Sydney did 146,500 and Hot Seat in Sydney 132,500.

Whilst it may not be like the good old 'Friends' days, the Monday night 'Comedy Block' of 'Men' & 'Big Bang' have definitely managed to gain a lead over the competition, both demo & total-people wise. Shame more arn't sampling 'Big Bang', the far superior comedy of the pair.

Yep looks like loads of Two And Half Men for 9 and loads of Big Bang for Go don't you just love variety?

2.5 men rated 1.519 million last night - a third of viewers coming from Melbourne - 525K!

MKR tanked - scraping over 1m - I guess being reminded about 50 times an hour during the tennis did put viewers off - certainly did me and my family!

TEN did moderately well - and as pointed out earlier - it does well in the younger demos which is what TEN aim for.

Seven would not be happy this morning. MKR didnt completley bomb (but it might tonight). As someone else said, I smell a homeMADE again. See how it goes tonight with Survivor on Nine instead of 2.5 Men. If it does better I can see Seven scaling it back to once a week on tue instead of monday.

Speaking of 2.5 Men- I dont get it. It is still gaining momentum. even the repeat of season 1 which has screnned god knows how many times wins its timeslot.

I can't see Biggest Loser being competitive at 7:30- at least for a couple of months. For it to not even win a demo is not good.

Why is the 7pm Project still rating so poorly. Ten have given this every chance to improve.

Very average premiere numbers, for a very average show in My Kitchen Rules. Desperate Housewives whacked in its timeslot by The Mentalist in total people, but winning in the demos.

Huge result for new 2.5 Men (1.519m!), with Big Bang doing decently with that lead in (1.241m), both delivering huge demo wins over Loser and Rules. The Mentalist easily dominating the 8.30 timeslot in total people, though lagging well behind in the demos.

Shocking night for Ten. The Biggest Loser at 7.30 did not do well at all, last in the 18-49 demo, and I'm guessing not much better in the others.

Same here.

But I was never going to watch it anyway as it was obviously just a tacky way of jumping on the cooking reality show bandwagon. I can't stand it when TV stations blatantly just copy things because they've worked on other networks.

Great night for Nine with their entire line up including news being competitive. ACA won Sydney although Bath won at 6pm.

Men, Bang and Mentalist continuing to build - shows that a bit of persistence and regularly consistent scheduling can work wonders and really build an audience.

Housewives are way down - could Underbelly be partly to blame? Last year they premiered with 1.4 and slumped to 1.0 against it.

Quite a lot of people waching FTA in the metros as well with over 4.7 at 7.30.

And Today beats Sunrise in Sydney and Melbourne although Brissy continues to dominate.

seven will be devastated with that, they would have been hoping for huge numbers for MKR given all the promotion during the tennis, that said, viewers can tell when a show is a complete rip off of another and MKR is sort of an odd combination of Masterchef and Come Dine with me, that said, i quite enjoyed it.

Caan't say I did. I was hoping for something enjoyable but I foud myself thinking this is like their border show. Before an ad break we got what was coming up and after an ad break we got the same stuff again. Felt like it was filler ...Not to mention the couples don't do much for me. And the State based comp .... So sad really ....Can't see it lasting

Yep, the wrong timings for these Ten shows last night as CJM suggested earlier in this thread.
