My first viewing of Paul Henry tonight and I like what I see. Very smart, but very funny at the same time. A really good balance. Unlike Kochie and Karl, they are just daggy, Paul seems to know when to and how to act. Loved him. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Strange move to launch early and only announce it tonight. Will it be enough time for people to know it's on? Will it look bad if nobody watches because nobody knows about it?

It'll probably rate better because no one knows about it.

They're going to be wanting to pump the promos out tonight. I saw it during The Project and it was a good ad, I think it was the ad they already made but just changed to say it's starting tomorrow.

And agree with David, I liked what I saw of Paul Henry as well. It was a very bizarre decision to hire him at first, but I think he'll be a good asset for Ten.

Hardly any promos and I have watched ten all night. But they are promoting repeats of NCIS and some triathlon thing that airs 1pm Sunday. Wtf?

Not much time for the show to get an audience; people just won't be tuning in tomorrow, though I guess it lets the team settle in to a groove for a full launch on Monday?!?!

The early start got mentioned on ABC Local Radio today, so there has been some word-of-mouth about it.

Interesting move, gotta say they better promote the hell out of it tonight then.
Looking forward to seeing it.

Ten's media release issued earlier tonight

UNPREDICTABLE BREAKFAST GRABS OPPORTUNITY FOR EARLY LAUNCH

We said be prepared for a show that’s cheeky and unpredictable, and today’s surprise resignation by Kevin
Rudd means it’s time for Breakfast to launch.

Guesting on The Project this evening, Breakfast host Paul Henry made the announcement that TEN’s
Breakfast show will launch tomorrow, Thursday 23rd February at 6am. The team is ready. The wait is over.
Paul Henry says: “This is a hugely exciting evening. We are not launching Breakfast on Monday. TEN are
launching Breakfast tomorrow morning at 6am. How good is that!”

If it's any consolation, the live stream doesn't even seem to be working in Australia.

Good lord, that set is absolutely atrocious!

Are they filming a low-budget Western or presenting a morning news programme?

They have a news wall. Great.
Magdelena excellent.
Set looks warm but messy.
