Unlike Today and Sunrise, which are live into Perth every day...?

Really hope they're able to make some changes to the set before Monday, it is sorely needed.

Everything looks good. Its a different show to the other two which I think is FINALLY great to have, yes the set does need to be tweaked and they should probably remove the pink from the look but I commend them for their work so far!

The colorful box graphics reminds me of Ten News's 1995-99 news graphics

I love how they acknowledged the fact that people are complaining about the set. I love how much this show is already acknowledging its viewers! I personally love the set, not as much as I love the graphics and Mag's giant screen!!

HA! Just realised that tweet they read out about the set was mine.

Has that Sunrise 'feel', and the graphics remind me of Windows Phone 7 and the upcoming Windows 8.

Guys - lot of talk about the colours of the gfx and the look of the set.
A show works for one reason and one reason only. The hosts. Full stop. End of story.
Next is the content. Then it's the pretty packaging.
You have to watch this objectively and see if there is anything about it that will coax the rusted-on viewers of 7 and 9 (and perhaps a few of us ABC types) to switch over.
If no one is that interested in the Project on 10 what chance does their Breakfast show really have? They've now lost their hardcore 6 a.m. news viewers and cartoon viewers. That leaves very few left. I expect they'll have to have a free $$$ competition soon like the other FTA crap does.
"I wake up with Henry ..." That's how I'll be answering my phone tomorrow. Though I'd rather wake up with the weather girl ...

The table or chest thing, whatever it is, has got to go. It looks terrible. Everything about the set means you can't focus on the presenters - Kath doesn't shine as normal because of the set. None of them shine. They are lost in the pile of junk. Surely they didn't spend all that money - and go through the rigorous selection process - only for the presenters to be overshadowed by the distracting set.

Get another table - one that is lower and cooler. Cut the sofa in half or just make it less bulky and distracting. Make it round so they don't look like three mugs in a police line. Get rid of the junk. Then you will see a sleek set where you can actually focus on the presenters.

Here are some examples to get them thinking...:

BBC Breakfast

...and Fox and Friends | Global | PIX 11

@Go_russ_go, you talk about the presenters. With this set, you can't even really focus on them. It's so distracting, it screams out at you "hey, we are bodge, this is a Channel 31 set!".

Weren’t Kids/Cartoons only getting 30k a morning? If so I would expect channel Ten to double their audience with Breakfast.

There's alot to like about the show and there is much they can tweak. I am sure it will evolve. It is a dynamic show.

Magdalena is tremendous. The best weather presenter in the nation full stop. Much better than Stevie and Grant and their schtick on the other shows.

Paul is hilarious. Kath is very accomplished. And although dry, Andrew just holds the show together with the links and throwing to breaks.

Very watchable and Ten should be commended for trying live morning tv after so many years. I am sure the news dept has been invigorated with the addition of this show after all the budget cuts and bulletin slashing.

Hope this can maintain an audience. Was very enjoyable. Wouldn't be surprised if it rivalled the Big Two very soon.

This is the funniest post of the day. It will take 12 months for this show to gain even minor traction.

The set is a terrible mess...it seems they have used elements of 630 with George Negus..

The scooter looks stupid and the windmill isn't any better....

I think I've worked out what the problem is. The "himbo" - Dr Andrew Rochford - should be on the right hand side of the three. He doesn't seem to have much to offer than to look pretty. Kath should be on the left, Paul Henry in the middle with the doc on the right in the "I'm just sitting here to make up the numbers"-Ben Fordham-or-Brian Kilmeade position. Take a look at The Before The Show Show video and see what I mean: http://tenbreakfast.com.au/video.htm

Yes, they need to get rid of the scooter and windmill and most of that bric-a-brac.
