plus Dancing with the Stars, genre is almost becoming as overdone as the factuals were in 09!

That or they're hoping to pick up the Idol audience.. or what was left of it.

I'd suggest the development of shows such as this and Beat the Star are possibly in response to the dwindling ratings of the various weeknight factuals.
I think they're heavily affected by Masterchef. I'd wait until that was over before calling them dead.
On the X Factor, if Seven pump this up, it could be huge.

Good move- the show has matured A LOT since Ten tried their version. WHatever they do it needs to be BIG!!!! I think the judging panel will work surprisingly well- Ronan Keating is quite a sign for Seven. Something on the panel for all demographics. Will be interesting to see who hosts- not Daniel McPherson because who can see him hosting three shows. I have my money on James Tobin to get the younger crowd in.
Would It be a case of Déjà vu if Seven hires Dicko to do another Idle..

7 are turning into a reality tv powerhouse. DWTS, AGT, B&TG, M<R and now XFactor. they had lifestyle shows in the early naughties, factuals in the late naughties, reality tv could be their tennies thing.
for host, if James Kerley is on 7 i wouldn't go past him.

I think they should of gotten Sharon Osborne, so we can hear her whine about Danni

Will we see Big Brother make a comeback? What's happened to the Big Brother house anyway up in Dreamworld?
