Seven has begun showing promo for season 4. That means new episodes may not be too far away, depending on how the documentary What Really Happens in Bali rates in the Tuesday 8.30pm (reading 8.45pm) timeslot.

Also Revenge ends June 9th too meaning Mondays are opening up. Could be going there too. Seven have a few timeslots opening up actually.

You would think it would go back to Tuesdays as that's where it's always been. Too risky to move it elsewhere. If Bali does well, that can go to Mondays (depending on how many episode there are)

Bali is still airing that week. It could very well go into Revenge's timeslot which means going head to head with HH.

Stupid decision if that's what they end up doing. It's always been on Tuesday nights so why move it now? And to put it up against another Aussie drama also.

They would certainly split the audience if W&L went up against HH. With The Voice running way over time every week, this would kill W&L.

I still think it'll go Tuesdays after Bali has finished, but those two timeslots are definitely the ones (at an earlier time) that I could see W&L going into. The rest that are opening up in the next few weeks are all 9:30pm onwards.

Winners and Losers returns next week with a 2 hour season 4 premiere: Tuesday 17 June 2014 at 8.45pm.

Great that it's back on Tuesday and in a few weeks we will have Aussie dramas on every night on free to air without competition.

Mon House Husbands
Tue Winners and Losers
Wed Offspring
Thu The Time of Our Lives
Fri Old School
There's also Wentworth on pay tv on Tuesday nights and multiple other screenings.

Hey

This is NOT a season 4 premiere. There were 26 episodes in Season 3 and Seven only screened 23 of them. The double episode will be episode 24 and 25 and the following week will be 26 and THEN the following week season 4 will premiere.

The idea was to get people to watch the double as it is returning, then at the end of the episode there will be a preview of a big episode the following week (season final), then people watch that episode and then return for new season.

What's to say there weren't always 23 eps for s3 they just filmed 3 additional eps in that production period.
That's what happened with PTTR, the production periods and breaks did not line up with season finales and the fans always thought 7 was chopping up seasons even though it was always intended to air the way it did.

Hey

Because that is not how it works. There were 26 episodes filmed for season 3 of Winners with the intention that it was to screen as such. You will see what I mean when you see the episode on June 24th which is the season final and then the difference the following week with the new season premiere. A network can, of course, play a show however they like but in the case you used, Packed to the Rafters, it was never intended to air as it did. The story arc and season were delivered and made to Seven as particular seasons. Seven decided not to play it 'as intended'. The same here. In the end viewers may not even notice - just a reference point for those that like to know this type of info.

Well last night's episode seemed to flow on exactly from the last episode of last season, with no time gaps or anything. It did seem more like a season closing off as opposed to  starting up with all the characters leaving (or threatening to leave), weddings etc. I just don't know why Seven didn't play out the full season and launch Resurrection after Easter without breaks. Stupid decision.

Totally agree. it's going to look even more obvious when episodes from the actual new season starts.

They're filming 26 episodes in Season 4. I wonder if 7 will show them all this year or hold back 10-13 for next year?
