They're filming 26 episodes in Season 4. I wonder if 7 will show them all this year or hold back 10-13 for next year?

I don't usually watch/follow the program but I'd think that at least some Season 4 episodes of W&L would have to be held off until next year. As far as I can tell, there's no way that all 26 episodes would be able to air before the end of the 2014 ratings period unless they double up for a few weeks or something.

In all likelihood they will hold episodes back of season 4 for next year as they have done with this current season.

Hey

I like to follow this kind of thing. Do you have a source that it is 26 eps? Is it the funding arm where you get that info?

They can easily play all 26 episodes. We had a double on Tues, a couple more doubles and they'll fit it in. IU'm sick of split seasons.

Does anyone know how long after last weeks episode this weeks wast set given last week was the final episode of Season 3 and this week was the first of Season 4. It seemed a bit stupid that we saw Bec and Ryan driving off to the airport at the end of last weeks episode all happy moving to Singapore and a week later she's already back visiting from Singapore and they hinted at problems in their relationship already.

The episode started with a "Two Months Later" caption which was covered by the Oz Lotto results before it was fully revealed. I could only tell because I went back and freeze framed. Good one Seven. An important bit of info lost and probably ruined the episode for viewers. Idiots!

They lost a few good characters from last season and we're stuck with a few which could have gone like Jenny's sister and brother-in-law.

Cheers J Bar, you have an eagle eye because I completely missed it. I'm guessing I'm not the only one that did. I guessed it was probably a couple of months when Francis mentioned she was a few months into her pregnancy.

It really says something when at the end of the promo for next week the voice over says "At the special time of 8:30".

Yes, a normal timeslot is "special" for Seven. But will it actually screen at 8.30.

I didn't see the "2 months later" caption either. I just think it was a really poor decision by Seven to end last season just 3 episodes from the end. It's just a little confusing.

Although I think the show had a better feel about it last night. I enjoyed it. I went to Uni with Nicholas Russell who plays Jen's love interest.

It was impossible to see that caption. As I said, I noticed something just before the lotto results came up and had to go back. It was probably on screen for less than a second and on frame by frame advance, I could only make out Two Months Later partly obscured by the lotto box.

It really made no sense to keep those final three episodes back. It was actually worse for viewers because a lot had changed between the two seasons. So many characters have left.

Also a bit unbelievable that Flynn just left the practice and went to New Zealand at the same time as Francis lost her assistant Jonathan and somehow she managed to change offices without explanation, all while she has been pregnant.

And don't get me started on her annoying PROS and CONS list which was shown as PRO's and CON's. A lot of people struggle with apostrophes but would a lawyer be that stupid?

Agreed. The show felt very fresh last night. New season gives opportunity to take stock and rejig so fingers crossed.

Will Jasmine and Patrick return or are they gone for good?was a good idea from the writers paring up Jenny's younger brother with Frances's sister

The actor playing Patrick said he had told producers that he wasn't going to return so they planned his exit last season.
