When the site has just had code injection issues I'd be in no rush to put the horrible security risk that is Tapatalk back.

Any specific set of vulnerabilities I should be aware of?

Nothing specific I've heard of recently, but the whole idea of letting an outside app chuck code directly into a server to allow access doesn't seem right to me.

I admit I don't know a huge amount about Tapatalk, but I don't see how it is in principle a security risk. The main risks that I can see are associated with the implementation of authentication procedures, something not specific to Tapatalk per se. I see that there was a major vulnerability discovered in mid-2010, but I haven't seen any significant exploits emerge since then.

Kept getting 500 error blurts on my screen for 3 hours tonight. On another note, have noticed some changes to the forum tonight (relocation of the online/offline wizz-bang).

Yeah, I'm getting a lot of internal server error pages (with German translations too! - lucky I can speak it!). I had reset my browser and the likes yet still no solution. It seems to have stopped now, though, which is good.

Perhaps it was overloaded with all the posts about Ten's 'new' set!

Seems to come and go. Every so often I'll get one but all good after a relaod ten seconds later.

"This site encountered an unexpected error, the Web server that kept to fulfill the request."

Reminds me of the sign we used to put on the office photocopiers:

Errr....that translates to this (interesting bits in bold)

"Attention! ALL TOURIST AND NONTEKNISCHEN LOOKENPEEPERS! THE IS NOT FOR THE KOMPUTERMASCHINE GEFINGERPOKEN AND MIDDLE DITCH! Where are the ratings threads for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday? Has OzTam thrown another tanty?

Withdrawn. Just posted and I apologise for my impatience.
