No, the NRL is not simulcast on Fox. The matches are replayed on Fox from around 11.30pm AEST.

The NRL match between Sydney Roosters and South Sydney did very well on Fox Sports last night, getting 369,000 viewers. The Roosters led by 22-12 with two minutes to go, but the Rabbitohs scored two converted tries to snatch victory.

Why post Fox Footy ratings seeing that counts regional viewers and every AFL fan hates regional ratings.

Do these figures count regional figures or just the 5 mainland cities?

Both. It's a national ratings number, not just metro.

Yesterday's ratings:

@MediaweekAUS Sat FTA TV #AFL Night 556k (Syd 45k Mel 328k Bri 20k Ade 96k Per 67k) Arvo 484k (Syd 43k Mel 193k Bri 40k Ade 110k Per 98k) #Seven/#7mate

Big crowd of 83,000 for the Collingwood-Hawthorn game in Melbourne but disappointing ratings for the delayed telecast into Melbourne.
Similarly, low audience in Perth for the Crows-Eagles match. Where have the Eagles fans gone?

What figures?

There have been none for STV apart from a national figure. It clearly states that on the ASTRA ratings release.

the 274k is national http://www.astra.org...ek29.9.pdf.aspx

STV Homes = STV homes only, metro & regional markets

I also notice this silly site has incorrect ratings still http://www.talkingfo...atings_2012.php

Eg Monday of week 28 says Cronulla and Sydney got 347k. ASTRA says it got 362k http://www.astra.org...ek28.8.pdf.aspx

They also have the latest Monday number wrong. Who knows how many are anywhere near correct. I'd say very few.

Tat site is then treated as gospel by the AFL zealots at Bigfooty.

and what makes you think ASTRA post the correct figures? They've obviously modified the broadcast time in order to maximize the number; somehow i doubt the broadcast started at 7:03.

That Talkingfooty site has used the overnight estimates from tvtonight that have the fixed 7:00-9:00 broadcast: http://www.tvtonight...-july-2012.html

But of course two modified MNF figures renders the rest of the page incorrect. I'm sure the extra 15k would make such a big difference too.

I have posted about many innacuracies on that silly site before.

ASTRA know more about ratings than some two bit website run by annonomous AFL fans. Tell me the last time any sporting body sourced their figures from this talking footy site?.

Of course Monday night NRL ratings are good, the only other live sporting telecast competing in the same timeslot is greyhound racing!

Im sorry r u drunk...

Monday is the biggest tv night of the week... check you local guides and you will see such shows as the voice, master chef, revenge etc, Were shown last night.

A lowly NRL game on Fox with the smallest franchise team in the comp at home in the booming metropolis of townsville... Gets 400k viewers...

Channel 10 will run this on 10 and One and make a fortune in adds every single week for 26 weeks... it will get 1million every week

Yeah i remember - by the time I replied to your previous post the numbers had been updated. Just like they have again this time - check the figures.

A million viewers? ANZAC tests and preliminary finals can barely crack a million. At best they'll be looking at 750k metro - half of what masterchef got in the same timeslot.

yep 750k metro and 250k regional... it gets 400k on fox which is in 33% of houses...

you can use this handy tool to add these 2 figures together www.calculator.com

You should send that link over to Channel 10, they can use it to work out how many viewers they'll lose by replacing Masterchef with MNF.
