Beauty & The Geek US is currently airing at 7.30 - which is prime-time.hopefully this does not mean they will stop showing the US version in primetime, like what they did with Beauty & the Geek.

TSR
A presenter for the show hasn’t been settled on yet, however, there is speculation that Phil Keoghan will be involved. The Emmy award-winning New Zealand television personality has hosted the original American series since its inception.
With only one season of TAR ordered by CBS over 2010/2011 (down from two), I wouldn't be surprised if Phil hosted the Australian version.
Should be good as long as Seven don't go cheap on it.

Why, you think we are just making these stories up?Looking through herald sun now, can't see anything on it.
It was reported over the weekend, except no sources have since picked-up the story. Strangely, it wasn't published online either.

I would prefer to see another series of The Mole, but I will definitely watch either way.
Another series of The Mole? Oh, yes please. Been recording the most recent australian series which was being replayed at midnight on the main channel and was thinking that they really should do another series of that. It's been five years since the last one so as long as they get interesting people, I'm sure audiences will be interested.
I think reality shows could be the way to plug up Seven's Thursday disaster. If we remember last year, Beauty and the Geek almost got up to 1.3 I think, which for a Thursday night (with the exception of Masterchef and Glee) is pretty good. So I think Seven could make that Thursday 8:30 slot a reality show timeslot all year round (10 weeks of The Mole, 10 weeks of Beauty and the Geek, 10 weeks of The Amazing Race: Australia and 10 weeks of The Amazing Race: US). That would be brilliant.

Hopefully he does host the local version. With only one season of TAR ordered by CBS over 2010/2011 (down from two), I wouldn't be surprised if Phil hosted the Australian version.
