I think the bonus episodes idea on Wed is a good one. I'd try a bonus PTTR the week after. It may mean people get back into the storylines of these shows after tuning out to The Voice.

The trick with the bonus episode is it needs to be promoted. Luckily for Seven they have been doing this brilliantly. On Sunday's Bones there was a short 5 second promo for the Wed episode in AND out of every ad break. People knew, thats the key.

I wonder if them showing Revenge on Wednesday is also a testing of the waters to see how well it rates for a permanent move?

I think showing Revenge on Wednesday is only a temporary move, at least out of necessity. On May 14 there is a Monday night AFL match between St Kilda and Carlton, so while Sydney and Brisbane is expected to have the usual line-up, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth will get the footy on Monday, meaning Revenge will have to be shown on May 16.
Seven's Tuesday and Wednesday schedule could well depend on whether Nine shows The Voice on Tuesdays. At the moment, the live shows will air on Monday with no results show scheduled (the public voting results will be revealed on the following Monday's show). If The Voice airs on Tuesday as well then Seven could move Australia's Got Talent to Wednesday, otherwise AGT will keep its Tuesday timeslot.

According to TV Week, there will be another new episode of Bones next Wedneday (May 9) at 8.30pm, followed by a special Jack the Ripper at 9.30pm. Looks like Seven will have filler programs on Wednesdays until after the first State of Origin match on May 23.

Wtf what about criminal minds? They have so many episodes of it on the shelf, they don't need filler.

Yeah I don't get what Seven are doing with Criminal Minds. They showed the first episode with minimal promotion, so it was no suprise that it rated horribly, they then take it off indefinitely. It's poor treatment of what used to be one of their highest dramas and is not fair to the fans.

Factuals won't hold against The Voice/The Block/Masterchef IMO - Seven should expect some low figures in that 7.30 timeslot especially on Mondays.

Definitely won't. Not completely surprised to see factuals make a return but that is an incredibly poor lead-in to Revenge.

Not surprised either. Seven is minimising its damage. By putting cheap factuals against The Voice they get to protect other shows that they really believe in. I am however really getting annoyed about how long we are waiting for Once Upon A Time considering how heavily it was promoted over Easter.

Can you blame then up against The Voice??? lol. It is nice to see competition in the market. The worry for Nine is that post-Olympics it looks like Seven will have a very ful cupboard. They can afford to be a little light at the moment consider the lead up to Easter that they had.

There's nothing wrong with fleeing the awesome power of Voice, but didn't Seven say 2 weeks ago they weren't going to change course because of Nine's recent success? What will they fill those slots vacated by AGT with?

Obviously AGT was never going to run accross three separate nights anyway, so there was always going to be a void. I'm assuming there were hoping to use AGT on two nights and then Once Upon or Amazing Race on the other. Now they seem to be saving those program's.

They probably planned to show Once Upon a Time on a Monday with Revenge but it would get slaughtered there now.

It looked like they were going to make Wednesdays a reality night Amazing Race may have screened there but with Australia's Got Talent moving to Wednesdays, that might have thwarted the start of that too.

AGT would have always dropped to one night. They cant just say to Fremantle that they dont want a results show anymore. It has always been one night for the last six years so I never expected any different this time around. It was just a matter of which night to screen it as it is filmed on a Sunday afternoon anyway.

I'm sure they would have had enough content to fill two slots for another two or three weeks however, especially seeing how long those episodes went for last year.

They are going to the "live" performance shows next week aren't they with auditions wrapping up this Wednesday?

By putting factual programs on Monday, Seven obviously thinks Revenge is a self-starter and does not need much of a lead-in (and its audience will go up even further with consolidated figures).
I now think AGT may be coupled with either Once Upon a Time or Amazing Race Australia on Wednesdays.
