Prime has National Treasure 2 in the EPG for next Monday night, is this the same for Seven? Sadly they seem to be resorting to knee-jerk reactions to The Voice, whereas I thought they would be able to weather the storm if they stayed true to their own programming.

It is the same in Sydney and Brisbane. AFL is on in the southern States. Its not a knee jerk reaction. Mind you i am sort of surprised they didn't move Revenge to Wednesday night that week. Instead we are getting the Bones finale.

That makes more sense now, thank you, I don't know anything about AFL, but I feel it is better to do a movie up north than split what is airing in different markets.

I also thought Revenge could have been shown next Wednesday night until I read that Seven wants to finish Bones ASAP to make way for Downton Abbey. Not a good idea having to rest Revenge for Monday night AFL given the huge ratings for The Voice.

On Wednesday? Talk about viewer loyalty, what about its Sunday audience?

Australia's Got Talent will be shown in NSW, ACT and QLD next Thursday to avoid clashing with the State of Origin. It will be shown in other states on Wednesday as usual.
New episodes of Border Security and The Force move back to Monday nights from next week.
But what happens to Pictures of You which has been bumped from the schedule to make way for Body of Proof?

It'll probably go into the Tuesday 9:30pm timeslot after Missing finishes (so first week in June).

A last minute change saw the AFL showing in SA and WA at 7pm instead of 7.30pm last night. This means the two states will now all have a week's worth of Home and Away episodes in just three nights this week: tonight, Wednesday (double episodes) and Thursday (double episodes also). It will be hard to digest even for the diehard fans of H&A.

There is a Grey's Anatomy / Private Practice crossover next Thursday week (May 31). The Grey's Anatomy episode ("Have you seen me lately?") will be shown after 9pm, and the Private Practice episode ("You break my heart") follows two hours later.

Air crash investigations is on next week after pictures of you, would make much more sense to use up some of the many comedies they have sitting on the shelf.

Their comedies have been scheduled from this week. They are screening 30 Rock, Happy Endings, Parks & Recreation and How I Met Your Mother. What else is there?

Better slots are avaliable on 7mate. Seven should put them there.

They hardly seem appropriate for the 7mate audience.

Seven plans to schedule first run content throughout the two weeks run of the Olympics and are confident of capturing a decent audience given the time zone difference will mean most events will take place outside of prime time in Australia.

Several new shows are set to be scheduled off the back of Seven's 2012 successes Revenge, Downton Abbey and Australia's Got Talent which all finish their series runs the week before the games commence.

Extremely risky, but I guess they have to throw everything they can at a resurgent Nine.
I'm guessing they're taking a bet that the post-olympics side of the Nine schedule will fail as well.

Not everyone will be surgically tied to the Olympics while they are on (my household was an Olympic-free zone when the Beijing Games were on) so it's nice to see Seven not just rolling over and playing dead for two weeks.

Well for those who don't watch the Olympics and i know a fair few people out there who don't, its a good move. I mean they could easily burn off GCB and The River. Then there is Scandal although if i were Seven i would hold this one till after the Olympics as there is a season 2. Plus throwing in Criminal Minds as well would be a good idea. It will be interesting to see what new first run content they air. Maybe Vera? Wasn't that supposed to air in February somewhere? Anyway its worth a shot showing first run because at that time of night i am sure its only going to be highlights until 10:30-11pm anyway.

Seven should do a comedy Wednesday like ABC America does.
