8pm start means some content will have to be edited to fit the timeslot. And Nine will probably insert another repeat of The Big Bang Theory to fill in the space between Gap Year and The Footy Show.

Absolutely no buzz for this show. A very lackluster promotional campaign, with the timeslot only revealed a week or so ago. I don't know if the Hamish and Andy fire has died, but I don't see this doing well.

I'm thinking the opposite. It's had massive exposure via The Voice, The Block and State of Origin so I think tomorrow morning we could be in for a surprise.

It's certainly not funny. Some minor parts of it are interesting as a travel series. Their matching tracksuit tuxedos, and whatever the other matching stuff they wear is supposed to be, were amusing during their first specials on Ten, but now they just look stupid. Just wear regular clothes, please.

There can't be a third series after this.

Agree. Having it on in the background, the segments dragged on forever without even a laugh. The tracksuit tuxedos are lame, is there no money in the budget?

Personally, I thought it was funny. The bunny race left me in hysterics. What an absolute fuck up to have Lenny pause at the second last jump.

Hamish and Andy have also been promoting the timeslot via their weekly radio show (they have been broadcasting from London since May).

i really liked it last night, good to see it go back to the caravan of courage format with the small audience in a pub. They have really cut back on the live audience bits which is a good move, that was the main thing i hated about the NY version. the moment lenny just stopped before the last hurdle had me & the family in stitches, then going back and destroying all the hurdles after doing that perfect run. all while H&A were trying to hold their composure. cant script stuff like that.

It wasn't knockabout, thigh-slapping, riotious humour but doe sit really need to be? I thought of it as just a bit of fun & just enjoyed it as that,
There are three types of people in this world; those who can count, & those who can't.

New Australian green and gold track suit themed tuxedos, that look even more stupid.

This season was great, the more segments and stuff they do outside of a live audience the better.

Next series to be called Hamish & Andy’s “Do What We Want To Do”, according to Fairfax.

Given that article was just a republish from Steve Molk's blog, I wouldn't take that as confirmation. Molk has a fairly relaxed, jokey style to his writing, so I'd say it was something to put there in place of an actual title.

Hamish and Andy's Gap Year Asia premieres Monday, July 8 at 8pm:

It’s true. Hamish and Andy are going on another Gap Year … again. And it all begins on Monday, July 8, at 8.00pm on Channel Nine.

After exploring all the bridge jumping, rabbit racing and hitchhiking that Europe had to offer last year, the two intrepid adventurers have decided that it’s Asia’s turn in 2013.

The Nine Network’s new series, Hamish &Andy’s Gap Year Asia, will feature the boys’ travels and escapades throughout the continent, broadcast weekly from their new favourite Bangkok bar, The Raintree.

Whether they’re being served by monkey waiters in Tokyo, running on water with Shaolin monks in China, or clearing live landmines in Cambodia, Hamish and Andy are ready for anything and everything that Asia has to throw at them.

“Asia has so much diversity and so many incredible countries to explore. No wonder they call it the Europe of Asia,” said Hamish, in an attempt to show off the geographical intelligence he hopes to become known for.

Andy revealed that “we’ve always had a deep connection to Asia because the safari outfits we wear on the show are made there. It will be really nice to take them home.”
