Not sure what I think of it, the new presentation seems to be simplistic, but way better than Ten-style simplistic. I did like their old presentation a lot, it had a nice slick feel to it.

FOX8 has now followed with what FTA has had for decades and now introduced a PRG. It animates with the watermark when returning from an ad-break with NOW, NEXT and LATER plus classification logos on the top right. Looks really good.

Yep, FOX8 certainly does have a new On-Air Presentation Package. It seems to be a HD package (at the very least, icons and some text don't really work in SD) and "TV for the Now Gen" is the new tagline (ripped from FOX in the US like the old So FOX8 slogan was?).

Anyway, here's some snapshots for everyone!

A minute long ident aired tonight during The Crazy Ones, using the song Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.

This is by far the best look on Aussie TV at the moment. Their promos are varied and effective, and yet all tie back to a simple, unified network look. On top of that, it engages with social media - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter. It promotes being available across multiple platforms, at whatever time the viewer wants. It even has made its slogan all about the viewer - "TV for the Now Gen". It doesn't create a brand around itself, it creates a brand which is welcoming to individual viewers and allows them the freedom to engage with their programming whenever, wherever.

Superb. 10/10.

Take a long hard look at this Ten - this is what successful brand building looks like.
