Bloody hell Seven. I'm sick of all the delays with this show. I hoping that they showing the Christmas special after season two and not making us wait for months. No wonder people seek alternatives when you get networks like Seven that treat viewers like this!

What would you prefer, that it go up against The Voice Finale next week? Seven did this last year for the DWTS finale week and doing it again. Nothing has changed. Yes it sucks but its a better option.

Season Three starts in September. Wonder how many months Seven will make us wait! Should show it the same week as it is in the UK!!

Will all depend on how necessary it is for Seven. If they are trailing Nine come September then they will air it an get a bit of a Sunday boost. If they think they can survive without it they will leave it. Season 2 has been doing great business even with the delay so they will be in no rush to get it to air.

Season 2 has received 16 nominations in this year's Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama, Outstanding Actress in a Drama (for Michelle Dockery), Outstanding Actor in a Drama (for Hugh Bonneville), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama (for Maggie Smith and Joanne Froggatt) and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama (for Brendan Coyle and Jim Carter). Won't be surprised if the promo for the season finale this Sunday is changed so to mention the nominations.

What for? The Emmys are no longer relevant to Australians.

Saw an ad in this week's Who magazine which says Blu-ray and DVD discs of season 2 will be available from August 1.
And Seven will not show season 3 until 2013: http://www.tvtonight...-3-in-2013.html

Surely there is enough time between Sept and the end of Nov to show Downton in line with UK. Seven are idiots.

I would like them to show it in September but they have brought it forward to a February start... which is 3 months better than this year!

a feb start will mean an easter interruption. i think it should be pushed another 6 weeks until after easter.

Yes, season 3 has 10 episodes, so even if it Seven shows one episode each week from Sunday, February 3, 2013, there will be three episodes left by the time of Easter non-ratings period. Unless Seven plans to show double episodes on some weeks?
