The Voice US is gone.TBBT is back on Nine at 7pm tonight and GO has their normal thursday night shows.

Are you talking about tonight or next week? The Voice US was never meant to air Thursday- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only. TBBT was always in the schedule for tonight. They certainly wouldn't move Gap Year for it.

What about the 'contract/agreement' between Nine and NBC? It must air on Nine for the 3 week duration.

Well, that must have been a furphy. How did that rumour get started anyway?

Well we know all the talk on here that Nine had pulled The Voice US after the first three nights was just speculation.

Maybe Nine should have followed the suggestion in the furphy. I guess the false rumour started when somebody commented on Thursday that The Voice was gone. It was only because Nine were only screening it Monday to Wednesday. It was back the following week.

I guess whoever said Nine were contractually obligated to broadcast The Voice U.S. on Nine were correct.

I expect this sort of behaviour from Ten. Ten keep low rating shows on. Ten sign rubbish contracts forcing dud programs to remain on the main channel.

Nine will quickly burn off the remaining episodes of The Voice US on Go! next week with four double episodes to air from Monday to Thursday. That should be the last we ever see of that dog on free to air.

Delta Goodrem has told News Limited that she is interested in becoming a mentor and judge again for The Voice Australia next year.

that was the original plan though was it not? I read weeks ago the finals etc would be on GO across the week.

It's not looking likely Keith Urban will return as a judge for the second season of The Voice. He has reportedly signed to be a judge on the next season of American Idol.

Keith's audition was successful then and now he can be exposed to his real demo - the American heartland.
This is always the problem with these shows using OS and OS-based talent - they will go to where exposure is best. For someone like Ronan Keating and Seal - the Aussie shows may be the only offers they get.
If Delta ever cracked the US (and she won't because her songs are goddamned awful), she'd bolt from the voice in a heartbeat.
Urban's replacement will be some Aussie who has worldwide exposure and has nothing better on offer. Any suggestions? It won't be Gotye.

I think Keith going is going to be a big blow to the show. Despite the troll comments above, I think Keith and Delta were the real stars of that show. Surprised that Nine didn't lock them all in for at least two years.

I thought Keith was the best out of all the judges. I didn't really rate Delta or Joel Madden.

Radio announcer tonight blabbing on about Jimmy Barnes being rumoured to be the replacement. Who else? Shannon Noll could be an option, even though his career has gone nowhere.

I like the idea of Darren Hayes. It should be an Aussie and he was already a mentor this year.

What? I'm a troll because I think Delta Goodrem is of limited talent and won't crack the USA? I think the majority of non-tweens agree with me. 9 should grateful for her limitations because they only have to replace 1 judge next year. It is a pity though because 9 will be unwatchable when the voice is on because they will plug Delta and her songs mercilessly on every program. It was very painful this year. Oops. I'm a troll again.
