No problems........all opinions are welcome and we do take notice......but whether we act or not is another story. ;)

I'm with Eurokick. Initially I thought it was just the default text you get with the new software, but now I see its there on purpose. I think the previous look and feel made the site look alot more professional, almost 'respected' as a source for media opinion and commentary. The whole 'community' thing makes it sound and look very amateurish, like it's a place for crazed network ident fans.

Agree that it's probably unnecessary, but not really worth making a new header over. The fact it took me a good 5 minutes to work out what your were talking about says a lot about its importance. Anyway, It's not like this isn't a community forum -- most of the active users here participate out of general interest, not because of industry involvement.

Good job with the upgrade Cyril, it's looking good :)

What is this "What you see is what you get" editor people are talking about? It seems the same to me (bar an auto-save feature I noticed while typing this post)

The use of the term 'community' is something that is standard in the latest version of the forum - like it or not we are a community (of sorts).

The forum's mobile version has undergone an upgrade as well. When I tried to read the new content from my smartphone, I was only able to reach the first page of a thread. Which is inconvenient if the thread has multiple pages.

Regarding the mobile skin, I'll need some screenshots of how the forum looks on different mobile devices: I didn't make any changes to the IPB default theme for mobiles, so if there are issues there they'll have to be diagnosed. (I don't have an internet-browsing mobile device of my own.)

Looking good - a stupid question, when I view the site now, I don't have full screen, there is a grey border on either side - can I change this as I prefer full screen?

Excellent update, also I really like the combination of one of the previous site banners (based on the Sunrise bagel) and the alert button thing. And have to agree with Bacco, we are sort of a community. A community of people who enjoy discussing different angles of Media, mainly Australian of course haha. Also is it just me or are the avatar's squashed?

Love the upgrade. One small change I notice and Prefer is the title of every page for tabbed browsing . Before it said Media SPY - Sunrise (for example) and now it says Sunrise - Forums - MediaSPY. Makes it a lot better when you have multiple tabs open!
