Sonia Kruger back in the paper today saying that the new big brother will tone down the sleaze and will be family friendly. Well that sounds completely boring. You don't want to see people sitting around and knitting.

Sonia's main appeal is being a little bit crude and politically incorrect. It sounds like she is really toning down her personality for Mornings and BB, and I don't think it's going to work on either show.

That's crap, this sounds like it'll be nothing like back to basics.

I can do with having Friday Night Games back, because at least it didn't contribute to the rest of the show other than the Rewards Room being used during the weekend, but games and tasks for the rest of the show just detracts from the whole concept of the show, which is random strangers living in a shut-off-from-society house together for three months.

The 7pm edition should be family friendly however Nine would be crazy not to do an Uncut/Up Late show with more adult oriented content. This would be perfect for late night on GO!

The new executive producer is Alex Mavroidakis. He's been involved in Big Brother before as a producer from series 2-8. He has also worked on The Apprentice, as well as had some experience in other "light" programming.

It seems that plans to air CA before Easter have been dumped judging from the low frequency of promos. CA and The Block and maybe Voice auditions should be enough to fill Easter-->Olympics I don't see why they'd need to pull BB forward.

Don't know if I've said this before but Nine obviously think it is smarter to have Big Bang Theory repeats now, then Celeb Apprentice and Block after Easter then Olympics rather than starting Celeb Apprentice now and having to slot in Big Bang Theory repeats just before the Olympics.

I don't think they have enough time to bring it forward to be honest, if it was going to air before the olympics they would have had to start advertising for auditions from the end of last year.

Didn't Ten have to resort to getting Pamela Anderson to be a guest on the show in the final season due to dwindling ratings ?

Nine are giving up on the first quarter, it's quite obvious that whatever they might put against the powerhouse My Kitchen Rules will fail. After it finishes Seven don't have much strong 7.30 content- RSPCA, World's Strictest Parents, Highway Patrol and maybe Pictures of You- the latter doesn't sound promising and the other three are declining. I think they are doing the right thing with what they have by letting Celebrity Apprentice go up against these and The Block last until the Olympics. These shows are close to the end of filming whilst Big Brother hasn't even started yet, so there's no reason why Big Brother should be moved forward.

The Block is the best thing to have going into the Olympics but if the auction is on Sunday, then there will be a five night wait for the Olympics? Why can't they just put the auction on the Thursday night.
