"ratings hit"? If that were the case it'd still be on Ten.

I suppose this fit's with Nine's new 7pm plan alongside other reality like the Block. WIN/NBN need to drop ACA and start taking the 7pm slot directly from Nine, because shifting all programming for the night back 30 minutes isn't going to work long term.

Is it April 1?

In Season 1, one of my work colleagues asked for x months off to appear on 'a tv show' and was told no. He resigned(!), went on the show, bombed out and sadly achieved fame (and a new nickname) solely on the basis of the size of his appendage.

But I'll still watch it if/when it reappears ;)

$20 says Jules Lund.

No love for Gretel?

I'm hoping it will be on GO! but the way the network is rating at the moment... I think will see it come to the main channel.

It will rate... i know some may think its a bad decision, but with a fresh look, few new concepts, people will watch.

Quite possibly and then realise why they stopped watching all those years ago.

I like the idea of Steve Jacobs hosting. I think he would be great for the show.

They managed to make The Block turn from something I appreciated greatly into something I didn't like much at all. Maybe it can work in reverse for BB.

Networks have really loaded up on franchises in the past twelve months - Seven with MKR and X-Factor, Ten pushing MC into two formats yearly and (maybe) The Renovators (or at least trying something new next season) and now Nine with Block, The Voice and BB.

No just no.

Also didn't Ten do that whole "every housemate has a secret" angle?

No, but they used something similar. One year they had the Logan's another year they had the mother-daughter thing and they also had the housemate who was in a relationship with a intruder.

Gathering by the articles I have read; it will be similar to the French version of Big Brother; Secret Story. It basically features housemates with a secret going into the house with the sheer objective, other than to win the show of course, to not let the other housemates find their secret out, but to actively seek out the other housemate's secrets. I can't remember what happens when the secret is revealled, but another feature from this version I like is the fact that one week, it is only males who are allowed to nominate, and they can only nominate girls; with the succeeding week being vice versa and so on.
It is a format appearing all over the world; it could work.
I. Like. That.

Any idea on where the house will be? The dreamworld facility is a complete ruin atm and is used for dreamworlds storage.

Incredible they're bringing this and it seems that Nine is trying their luck with Tentpole series ala Ten.
Their cupboards are bare for new content from the US next year though, so I guess its not that surprising.
