I know it's only 2 episodes in but I'm enjoying this second season much more than the first, and it feels really promising of what is to come. The first season was dragged out too much, waiting to reach the point we saw in the first episode. This season feels more open and it can really go anywhere. There have been so many twists and turns already and we are only 2 episodes in. It seems the shows focus is moving more from Emily/Amanda and onto the Grayson's.

Interesting perspective. It contrasts to what most commentators and fans in the US are saying with the second series getting poor reviews and reactions now that the “revenge” has been achieved. Some suggesting the ratings are so low that it could be cancelled or moved to a graveyard slot. Scandal has taken over as the new Revenge.

But earlier in the season they were all raving about how great the second season was and it was scoring record ratings. That's what we're up to right now. I don't know what happens later in the season. It may drop off here too if it all ends up being same same.

I think it will continue to be a ratings winner for Seven this year.

I've watched revenge since episode 1, and generally enjoyed it.

However, lately it looks to be jumping up and down on the spot, and bringing in plot contrivances that seem to delay rather than advance the plot.

Revenge would have made a good mini-series with a beginning, middle and definite end, rather than interminably waffle off into the ether like it is now.

More producers should think along the lines of "American Horror Story" with a one season story, and the next season being an entirely different story, albeit with a number of the same actors in new roles.

Revenge is lucky to get renewal considering its ratings declined for most of this season. The scripts must improve for season 3 otherwise it will be axed.

It isn't lucky to get a renewal. It was still one of the highest ratings shows on ABC. Ratings decline was due to the horrible scheduling.

these days a 3rd season pickup pretty much means a 4th season pickup as well. syndication seems to mean a lot to networks and no shows are getting axed with syndication withing reach no matter how poor the ratings. but i would really like to see a commitment to season 4 being the final.

Watching the season two final now, its bloody good! Another top season, September can't come quick enough for season three to start airing.
