Anyone done a comparison of Ten's The Circle ratings with Swan, without Swan and before and after Stynes comment on VC winner?

I realise they have different competition now on 9 which would impact, but would still be an interesting study.

The swimming flopped on Ten but did pretty well on One (it was the top program for digital channels too). Maybe the event should have stayed entirely on One.
MKR attracted a huge audience again but the figures are softening ahead of the elimination week.
Soft return for the return of AFL Footy Show.

If the swimming was only on ONE it could've pulled a really massive audience for digital TV actually. To be #1 and to have also been on Free to Air is a pretty amazing result.

Seven's line up just completely dominates on all levels, as usual.

Grey's is doing extremely well. It's dominating it's timeslot.

They've gone from bad with Chrisse Swan to really bad without her. There was a small spike in the ratings following the Stynes incident.

Well pretty much the interest for me in MKR was Peter and Gary (Dr Evil) and Thomas and Carla - they've provided the most laughs and were pretty much the energy of the show.

Elsewhere, Sydneys 7NEWS with a big gap today, been pretty close the last week or so?

How is a 270k average for 9.30 - 11.30pm awful? I'd imagine it would be more than double what any another channel got over the 2 hour slot in the same market.

Also bear in the mind the AFL Season doesn't even start until next weekend - a lot of regular viewers may not have been aware the show was back yet.

Does Excess Baggage even deserve a primetime slot on GO! with figures that low? Why don't they just burn off the remaining episodes in 4 hour blocks on Saturday and Sunday afternoons?

Yep, must be cause of the set! 4 days in, sound the death knell! Though you love TVW so of course you would.

Come back in 3-4 weeks.

I don't dislike TVW. Heck, i worked there last year!

I'm just sick of their unwarranted huge ratings and Perth peoples fixation to it (same with Mix 94.5 ratings).

Melbourne footy show 270 vs an average of 320 in September in 2011 (365 if you include the Grand Final show). In spite of another revamp, Sydney ratings are consistent with where it finished last year, seems Matthew Johns was right.

Who cares what either footy show rated? They both deserve to get axed. They are woeful shows.

Watch NRL on Fox and The game plan to see what real Footy shows should be like.
