The ratings for all the reality shows are fairly even but at the same time not that great compared to past seasons. They all cancel each other out.

So now we have Celebrity Apprentice split as three separate shows to boost the figures for the Winner Announced. This is becoming very annoying and extremely deceitful whenever a reality show does it. Please cease and desist.

Not such a good idea for Seven to have wasted Bones and castle episodes on a Wednesday night.

There is zero buzz about AGT this year. Just one of those things. Come Wed people don't seem to be interested in watching a reality show. Still helped Seven to quite a healthy win last night. Also a rare healthy win for Chris Bath in Sydney.

Celebrity Apprentice goes out sort of how it came in. No real bump in figures but a reasonable result.

I thought Offspring would be impacted more than it was with the odd start time.

#1 in 18-49 for the night means CA is a gold mine for Nine.

Pathetic finale results for Celeb Apprentice. Another poor result for AGT, I cant see the split schedule next week helping its cause either. Another night under 1m for MasterChef, only marginally ahead of Home and Away for the night, probably beaten by the struggling soap in the 7.00pm half hour. Alarm bells must be ringing.

But don't fall into the trap (that Nine want us to) of equating the 10 minutes of winner announced with the real results for the final challenge.

For those interested in The Simpsons at 6pm, for the second night it has slipped out of the top 50 programs so somewhere under 106,000.

Simpsons at 6pm on Eleven did around 125,000...and I have no idea why it is not listed in the top shows.

The entire episode of Celebrity Apprentice averaged less than 900,000 viewers for 90% of the show. A massive flop.

However where have the viewers gone on Wednesdays? I would say disappointing numbers for almost every show outside the news hour, including Australia's Got Talent, Masterchef and even Home and Away. I'm still confused as to why Australia's Got Talent is on Wednesday's this year... it always worked on a Tuesday and a suitable lead in to Rafters.

How do people know when the winner will be announced, considering how sloppy the schedule is, and are there really that many people who are watching something else and say "Let's check out who wins the Apprentice"?

People flicking channels during other shows, and I know myself other people in the house were watching so when it got to the end came and watched.

Is it possible that because the 6pm and 8.30 shows are both called The Simpsons, they are averaged? Perhaps they need to be coded 6pm/EV etc.

I couldn't agree more. Australia's Got Talent doesn't have the pulling power it had last year.
Too many dance/acrobatic troups with similar levels of ability, singers of the pub-entertainment/busker level etc ect.

I used to be addicted to Masterchef, but can't be bothered this season, and by the ratings many feel the same way. Junior and Celebrity Masterchef's along the way have probably accelerated the franchise's demise.

Wow.

AGT down 43%
Celebrity Apprentice down 38%
MC down 35%
Block down 18%

The legacy broadcast networks are bleeding viewers massively. Digital networks, cable & DVR viewing is really taking its toll.

These stats do not look good when the networks go to seek ad rates from advertisers!

That is quite telling in my opinion. I can't see any new reality shows being commissioned for next year. Or if new ones are they will be at the expense of existing ones which will be axed. There is an overcrowding of the market that is not really working for anything except the voice. By not working I mean that in the sense of not big results like last year that carried a schedule.

Things like AGT can make a comeback depending in the acts that audition. Just look at the UK this year with good acts, real variety and a good panel. I would suggest seven try and inject more humor into the panel. Find a comedian. David Williams has been brilliant on britains got talent this year.

Jesus that is almost a 800k drop for AGT and just over 500k drop for Masterchef. Big declines.

I really think audiences are fatigued from reality I know I am and I've only watched TBL and Masterchef this year. Strip reality takes alot of time and I just don't think I have the time to continue with it - I'm enjoying MC but I have alot on my plate and its hard to tune in every bloody night.
