The ratings for The Voice have clearly been misreported.
I'm sure I heard Seal, when attributing nerves to a contestant, refer to the "7 million viewers".
lol.

Tricky Business is already coming across as "missable" after two episodes.

Tricky Business also down from last week and I assume those ratings will be adjusted again this week considering the advertised start time was 9.35pm but it actually started at 9.48pm. I was bored by this second episode.

I laughed at the end of 9 news (which incidentally I have now decided never to watch as it is nothing short of pathetic. Her indoors watches Hot Seat so tv gets left on 9. that will now stop.) when I saw a 9 promo advertising The Block at 7; the Voice at 7.30 and TB at 9.30. Isn't that false and misleading? In the USA or the UK, there would be big fines for this kind of deceptive scheduling.

The media releases that Nine are sending out, that we receive, are also fake with such statements this morning as "Tricky Business peaked at 1.913 million viewers" which is obviously during the Voice overrun.
Media releases from, for example, Ten state the time adjusted figures within 30 minutes of the preliminary release, so the correct information would be known - who are they trying to fool?

With the decline of The Voice's audience albeit to still massive figures (from 2.8m), Nine's Monday share has drop by just around 5 percent in TP and all demos over the last 2 weeks. Seven is up about 4% and Ten about 1.5% in TP.

Deal or no Deal has a had a big resurgence in the last few weeks. Due to TPIR? Stealing viewers from Ten News.

Ten need to really push The Project 6.30pm. This is their chance to steal disgruntled TT and ACA viewers. Give up on The Project 6pm, dead at 450,000.

Also give up on Breakfast. Just 22,000 beaten by ABCNews24 and trailing Sunrise and Today by 1000% ( 411,000 & 342,000).

Thanks TVTonight.

I think all the negativity surrounding the voice last week really reflected in the ratings. Last night was a much improved show from the previous week but far from perfect. But still great figures and it's too late in the season for any drop to be a concern.

Tricky business is a flop.

Big day for Sunrise on 411k. Breakfast seems to be incredibly consistent - at 22k. That number never seems to change.

What would you do? Leave The Project there at 6pm? It's not working. Ten are obsessed with the idea that if you 'leave it there, it will grow'. It's a wank. :)

22k for Breakfast is dire - surely that money is better spent on fixing up primetime or increasing the promotional budget.
I do not see any benefit of having breakfast sitting there - it attracts no attention anywhere, almost noone is watching, and I do not believe the benefits of promoting primetime to an adult audience at breakfast is making any difference.
It has been there for months now and it just continues to go down or stay stagnant. No signs of growth at all - at least the Project shows growing power.

I'm convinced that airing infomercials or US Breakfast shows from 6am to 9am each day would attract the same numbers and would earn Ten more revenue that Breakfast does..

Weren't they getting a bigger audience with Toasted TV on Ten and repeats on Eleven? Time to reverse this change and put The Loop on Ten on Saturday mornings. Those young audiences delivered bigger audiences in prime time with promos leading them to watch Ten in the evenings.

I don't watch TV at 6 pm. So it matters little to me what they put there.

I would put Neighbours at 6pm. Run The Project from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and have reality shows like Masterchef/The Biggest Loser running from 7.30pm. That would deliver higher ratings for all those shows and boost their early evenings.

Seven - 27.6% (30.3%)
Nine - 35.1% (31.5%)

9 ahead by only 1.2% after the voice? That's a big change. If it weren't for SOO 7 could have had a large win this week. The week will probably be a lot closer than first thought.

From what I can see Body of Proof was number 21 for episode 1 and that was followed by a repeat with separate coding at number 36 (total people). Climbed to 14/15th in the demos.

Body of Proof got 625,000 for episode 1 according to TV Tonight.

Micallef did develop an early evening show for Ten, co-starring Hamish Blake. Unfortunately Hame got picked up by Nine.

Seven will probably do alright on Wednesday night, because 9 in Adelaide and Perth have been stupid enough to schedule the SOO for 7.30pm this year.

Should attract a few thousand viewers in those cities if they are lucky!
