Seriously 18 of those 20 programs in the digital list are ABC2 - why can't oztam just release a top20 primetime list....

In other news nice increase for the Jamie Oliver ep of Masterchef was a great episode so I hope it draws some more viewers in.
Bingle premiered well - about where I expected it to though it will no doubt drop big time, word of mouth seems negative so far today...though we could be suprised.
Bikie Wars saw in increase as well which is good to see for an Aussie Drama on Ten.

Rafters still holding on and doing its job and I'm suprised Once Upon A Time has held its audience so far....

Being Lara Bingle was the 6th top show in 18-49 and 16-39.

I thought there would have been more interest in the first episode of Being Lara Bingle. It was hammocked between 2 shows doing over a million, so it had a good timeslot. However, I believe The Block deliberately ran very late, so that definitely would have affected Bingle's figures. It will be interesting to see if word of mouth makes the show go up, down or stay the same over the coming weeks.

Good increase for Masterchef with Jamie Oliver...it was an excellent episode last night.

Once again Nine won in Sydney and Melbourne, and Seven just managed a win in Brisbane (it was very close) but in Perth and Adelaide Seven won easily.

In both main channel and combined commercial channel shares, Nine won 18-49, 16-39 and 25-54 (6pm-10.30pm) with Ten second in both main channel and combined shares and Seven was third.

Packed to the Rafters was up quite a bit on last week. Powerful episode last night and deserves the big audience it still gets.

Bikie Wars back up over a million this week too. Jeez, they dragged this story out. I'm glad I record this show and can fast forward through all the filler of bikies riding bikes on a long stretch of road. Would have been better as a four part mini series. Even a telemovie could have been long enough to tell this story.

Even Once Upon A Time went over the million mark. Being Lara Bingle had a lower audience than Modern Family had in that slot last week. Predict a big drop next week, now the curiosity factor is gone. Not a good sign that the audience went down after Masterchef but went back up for Bike Wars.

Rafters no longer seems like event, must watch TV with people skipping it when other things are on. But last night viewers came back for an excellent episode. Once Upon A Time also holding up quite well. If it settles there Seven will be happy.

Lara Bingle premiered quite well but should drop. Hopefully. Masterchef had a nice increase and Bikie Wars strong.

Block consistent strong performer.

That's 2 wins in a row for Chris Bath in Sydney. But with Origin tonight that will change.

Huge news figures all round in Perth last night, even Nine looks respectable. Two from two for Chris Bath this week.

Decent premiere for Bingle. Though it will no doubt be hovering around 600k within a month.

Though she's a Sydney-centric celebrity, the BLB Melbourne audience still exceeded Sydney's.

Bingle did slightly better than I thought, it doesn't get the 'huge flop' headline that people thought it would get initially. The demos surprise me, if you told me it was going to get 900+ I would have thought it would do really well in 16-39. Like how HIMYM used to get 700k but beat shows getting 1.3mil in 16-39.

cannot believe big bang theory repeat got 1.254 million. that beats some of the last new episode ratings for this year. either some people do not know the season is over or they love this show. its on nine, go, pay tv. seven need to do something about home and away. i think it will occur once the analogue signal goes and then they should move it to seven2. give credit to ten they are doing a better job with their shows then at the start of the year. next year with new reality shows on ten and maybe seven, we should see a really competitive year. maybe decided on whether nine keeps the rugby league? how big brother goes? and what new shows ten and even seven get for next year? i think nine will try to consolidate next year with the reality shows they have got?

interesting the block will be on twice next year. a 6 week block heading into easter, going head to head with my kitchen rules at the start of the year and then the second half of the year. will seven do the same with my kitchen rules?

traditional nights are changing. seven no longer dominate tuesdays and nine no longer dominates sundays?

interesting nine has the rugby for sydney and brisbane markets and seven wins news and current affairs. seven has afl for the melbourne market and nine wins in melbourne news and current affairs. so much for having the rights to these sports?

seven need to do something about home and away. i think it will occur once the analogue signal goes and then they should move it to seven2.

If Seven ever decide to shift Home & Away off Seven, then I'd say timeslots in Australia will be permanently changed so that evening viewing would be starting on the hour: 7.00, 8.00, 9.00, 10.00.

TV Central (rip) listed a top 20 exclude ABC2. I suggested MediaSpy do the same and send a simple email to oztam to ask permission. That's in the too hard basket.

Hmmm. surely it was hoping for somewhere higher than 6th?

I thought there would have been more interest in the first episode of Being Lara Bingle.

Really? I think it was lucky to get the numbers it did and I can't see it going up now that the novelty has gone.

Although is that number for the 'advertised' time of 8.00 or is it based on Ten's start time of 8.12??? Honestly... 12 minutes late?? Ten used to be the least offensive when it came to abusing timeslots, now it's up there as the worst. Although even the numbers based on Ten's correct times will give the show a skewed result because there will have been people tuning in at 8.30 to see Bikie Wars and who would have had to sit through the remaining minutes of Ms Bingle's life story.

Seven's domination of Tuesday nights is well and truly over with AGT now struggling on Wednesdays and Packed to the Rafters no longer a ratings powerhouse. Nine should be happy that its line-up of The Block and the comedies were very competitive against Seven last night.
Interestingly, TT (featuring Matt White's interview with Kerri-Anne Kennerley) beat ACA (featuring Tracy Grimshaw's interview with Lindy Chamberlain) nationally.
Being Lara Bingle started quite well but is expected to drop sharply next week. The Jamie Oliver episode of MC was great and deserved those figures.

Well, they still won Tuesday so I don't think "well and truly over" is correct.

The Block ran about 20 minutes over its allocated timeslot, which would explain the inflated figure for the first Big Bang Theory episode.

The Project 6pm was 432,000

This day 2 years ago, The Simpsons was 759,000 (18-49 was 416,000)

I know extra multichannels have launched since then (GEM, 7mate & Eleven) but that doesn't account for losing 300,000 viewers. How long are they going to suffer with The Project 6pm? Something has to happen
