Does anyone know why they changed the voice-over guy?

It's nice to see a reno show with some actual renovations straight from the start. Jo Griggs, must be applauded for her efforts in lifting the shows profile, she's responding to everything on twitter.

Jane and Plinio's Hobart home is called "the house from hell" because it has asbestos. Did the couple know about this? If so they should have told the producers beforehand so Johanna Griggs could pass it on to the other 5 teams. Clearing the house of all the asbestos took 4 hours.

The house's location also caused problems for some of the sponsors. Since Beaumont Tiles doesn't have a store in Tasmania all the tiles had to be transported from the mainland, so tile samples were placed outside the house for the teams to choose.

P.S. I feel sorry for Amy and Sean who had to camp out in the backyard of the home under renovation for coming last in the last round, while the other 4 teams slept in the hotel. And to think the punishment applied for the next 4 rounds too!

It seems the editors have been busy cutting this show down and reworking it. PTTR started a lot earlier than the original scheduled starting time of 8.45pm.

Packed To The Rafters has always been advertised for 8.30, Criminal Minds though has always been advertised for 8.45 tomorrow.

Early schedules had an 8.45 start time. Next week's early schedule also has PTTR listed at 8.45 but I expect that will change. Seven obviously concerned House Rules is dragging down the rest of the schedule.

Wow 3 posts in a row of people discussing whether Rafters was 8.36 or 8.38pm. Don't we have anything else more interesting to disccus?

What an unexpected shock that a house of that vintage would contain asbestos.

How very fortunate were they that an asbestos removal team just happened to be available at a moments notice and the teams were able to commence demolition before the end of the first day?

Does anyone find Sean incredibly sexy? Not only does he have the body, but that smile and his personality mixed together.

I tuned in just to watch him in his short shorts.. I'm hoping its really hot one day and he goes shirtless ;)
