Masterchef held up well. Over a million but I can't help but think with MKR and The Blcok on the horizon will MC:Pro be able to maintain the audience.

MC Pro still holding up well. I'm impressed. The next episode takes on the AO men's final. That will be a good test. I thought they might skip it, but I guess they don't want to annoy people with the change and want to keep it in people's minds for Monday against MKR.

Sun - 1,165,000 310,000 399,000 225,000 105,000 126,000
Mon - 1,019,000 266,000 345,000 208,000 85,000 115,000
Tue - 1,020,000 331,000 277,000 211,000 94,000 107,000

According to Ten - MC was number one in timeslot again and the three demos

Volatile news numbers again, Seven slips to third in Melbourne after yesterday's good number but Brisbane maintains the lead over Nine.

I think MKR will unfortunately rain down quite heavy on MC's Parade, the MKR promo's have been running all through the tennis and it will be hard to see MC compete, the difference also between MKR being amateurs and MC being professionals, the advantage you'd have to think would be with MKR, but it will be interesting to see what happens when they go head to head

CDWM is a great show though, if I had Foxtel I'd be watching the Aussie series. Loved the UK version although Seven stopped showing it once it became apparent they were going to "borrow" the idea for MKR. Strange though that even the UK series was never released on DVD apart from some 'best of' collections.

Even the Greek series that was showing on SBS2 was fun to watch.

The question will be can MKR take viewers from 10 or will it get more people to watch network TV than are at the moment. There are a lot of people who were watching network TV this week last year that don't have their TV on or are watching something else.

Here’s the top 10 from this Tuesday last year

The Aussie show is good, apart from the objectionable bare-footed guy in ep. 2. He almost made me want to skip it.

It doesn't look good for The Carrie Diaries: down from 70,000 on debut last week to 54,000 this week.

Yes, that is very strange. You can't get more Melbourne than a whole episode on a tram, so I would have expected my fellow Melburnians to lap it up, and again the next night looking for more.

Dining on a tram is a novelty for interstate viewers, but for Melburnians are quite used to it since the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant has been operating for more than 20 years.

But surely they would be attracting the same revenue regardless of whether they count or not in official ratings. Correct me if I am wrong but aren't official rating periods just so there is data available to negotiate ad rates?

But surely they would be attracting the same revenue regardless of whether they count or not in official ratings. Correct me if I am wrong but aren't official rating periods just so there is data available to negotiate ad rates?

Maybe so but advertisers and networks analyse results in ratings periods. If Ten have high rating shows outside official ratings periods, the performance doesn't count so it's somewhat of a waste.
