Why were the figures for Seven News so low? It's remarkable that TT jumped from the news lead-in. Huge audience for the return of MKR.

Seven will also be disappointed with the AFL figures on free-to-air.

Excellent figures for new episode of TBBT at 7.30pm.

9 GAME OF THRONES showcase 109,000
13 GAME OF THRONES showcase 95,000

The first figure was for the 8.30pm encore and the second figure was for the 4.20pm premiere. Both are quite good.

The second RPT of The Big Bang Theory was actually the new episode that didn't make it to air a couple of weeks ago.

Have Seven's attempts to rectify Melbourne's news problems backfired in Sydney?

I did not think MKR would flop after a week off but I did not think it would go back up to almost 2 million. Will be interesting to see where this goes the next 2 weeks.

What happened to Seven News. Was there a NRL lead in in Sydney for Nine? But still. Crazy. Today Tonight did a good job to come back from that.

Holy gobba.

Seven News at #10!! Did half of Seven News Sydney's audiences' ratings boxes break or something? That was an excellent report on CSG last night on Four Corners. I would prefer if it achieved higher.

I'd really like to know what Deal or No Deal got in comparison to Hot Seat. Interesting night of ratings overall.

Massive Night for 7. Good to see Home and Away above a million again and My Kitchen Rules almost at 2 million! A week off did not hurt it's ratings in the slightest, actually a full week of promotion has helped the show and I think it's going to defeat The Voice this year.

Apparently, Seven coded their news incorrectly, which explains the unusual numbers.

The SBS launch was a huge disappointment ratings wise. Much lower than the usual rating for the channel despite quite a bit of promotion including on the web.

Unfortunate, but not surprising. The programming is mostly junk.

They need something mainstream (ie South Park) to lure viewers in and therefore possibly sample the other junk.

south park is on sbs1 as it smore mainstream and is a ratings getter for sbs. some like, some dont, but i liked it and comparing to other channels, it actually (to me) had a good lineup, great laughs, brought new shows and people to me and was well worth the watch. apart from hillbilly thursdays on 7mate, sport and retro arvo's on 11, i dont have much bother to watch any other channel. when a-league seaosn comes aorund, i will have comedy, sport, music (pop asia) and more on one channel.

just my opinion.

H&A, MKR, and revenge all get their highest ratings in a long time, makes sense given the public holiday effect and lack of competition, Easter Monday has been an untapped gold mine of ratings all these years, i think 7 has set a precedence here, from next year onwards, i think Easter monday will be a key battleground.

i would of thought that 0.7% for SBS2's launch is alright. it is SBS afterall, it is going to take a while for the message to get mainstream.

yea i'll wait till the end of the week and see what the ratings are like. i expect there will be a slow rise in ratings, there were a lot of great shows on, but its sbs2, majority of people would rather watch commercial channels with american sitcoms.
