Karl keeps going on about Georgie and Deb not turning up.

It's pathetic. Monday is Georgie's day off every week, she didn't 'not' turn up. And Well, I dunno about Deb but get over it.

They did the news from Sydney last year too, so perhaps they didn't need Deb if that was their preference. I'm sure Karl was just taking the piss. Deb wouldn't just not turn up.

I agree Deb's a total professional and would not do that, maybe she had to fly back home to be with her two young children.Karl was taking the piss like he always does  ,he also joked about Georgie Gardner not being on today and Lisa said you know she doesnt work monday,he then said hope she is enjoying her sleep in.

Yikes, what's with those laptop stands? Probably the worst way of approaching that issue.

They look like something from a geriatric ward. I'm sure the huge 55+ audience appreciates it! :)

That's great news for Leila and hubby. And great news for Deborah Knight too,she would you assume replace Leila on WT while Leila is on maternity leave.

Expect a magazine spread this week or next about how long she's been trying to get pregnant. I suspect it might be a sad story.

Leila wearing second hand clothes, I doubt that. Erica Baxter would no doubt be able to go shopping with her to get the latest maternity fashions. Good on her!

Congratulations to Leila!

Cameron's wife is also expecting their second child.

That's great for both of them!
Leila's 40 this year so it's a good thing she's having the baby soon.
Looking forward to Deb getting a good go in the hosting chair!
hugh

Perhaps by October, Wendy Kingston will be ready to return to work and could take Deb's spot as newsreader on Weekend Today.

If only Alicia had stayed in Sydney, she's a far better presenter than Deb
