Karl's on holiday this week. Georgie filling in for Karl,and Deborah Knight presenting News all week.I actually enjoy Lisa and Georgie co-hosting together,they make a great team.

Amber's a great talent and she had a good personality for the weekend show. They never got her to host the show though. It was always Natalie, Livinia, Shelley or mainly Allison.
I think Wendy would be a good option as host.

Deborah Knight has been main fill in host for Leila so you would assume she would replace her while she is on maternity leave.I agree Wendy Kingston would also be good host,but I think Nine will want her back on her Weekday News Bulletins.

A lot of promos being shown for today, during the prime time television tonight. More then usual I found. Personally, I thoughht it was good to see. Shame the promo wasn't much good. But hey I suppose begged can't be choosers.

Jade Robran has just had a baby and (correct me if I am wrong) is now just working as a freelance journalist. I don't think she is part of the network anymore (I haven't seen her anyway nor has she been mentioned as the 'dedicated SA reporter')

Haven't seen anyone reporting from SA for quite some time. Will McDonald was used a little.
I think Jade left not long after it was announced that she had not been appointed weekend news anchor.

Great clip. That was the Today I grew up with. The theme you heard was the theme for quite a long time. At the time it was quite iconic for the show.

Also, jeez Roscoe had "it."

Karl returned to show this morning after his week holiday.Deb Knight has been working 10 days straight,poor love can now get back to her nornal roster now.

the show seems to be getting bigger guests now but the interviewing is terrible! there's no research, there's not enought time and Richard Wilkins asks the stock standard questions he would on a press junket. Karl tries to shake things up but he's not trained to be an entertainment reporter. I'm sure the conversation off camera was better.
