Looks ok, but I'd put John Stanley into Afternoons and let old man Tim Webster drift back to Ten News and just fill-in on 2UE.

Ugh, Stanley in Mornings with no Oldfield would be better.

Stanley would be better on his old time slot in afternoons however he is going to weekends, the Brennans think that Oldfield is a huge talent and have given him mornings...he starts on Dec 20. Sandi was offerred a job in the newsroom but said "been there done that and even ran it, thanks but no thanks".

George and Paul had better still be there somewhere on weekends. Clive Robertson can get the flick.

Shame about Stanley, he seems like a nice guy. But he was no chance against Alan Jones.

Murray breakfast
Oldfield mornings

I like this move. Best thing they've done in years.

Jason Morrison will be announced as UE's new breakfast host (Morrison & Hadley hate each other with a passion).

When told by a caller that the Tele had reported his wage was $800,000 Morrison laughed and said if he was being paid that he would retire now. He probably gets about $100,000-150,000, which is still great pay. I think he is better suited to 2UE.

Really? I haven't seen anything about it. Or is this a scoop? :) Is Morrison switching because of Hadley?

Breakfast: Jason Morrison
Mornings: David Oldfield
Afternoons: Tim Webster?
Drive: Paul Murray
Evenings: Sports Today axed

Stuart Bocking?

Story in today's The Sun Herald that Sports Today is prob no more. That opens up another shift.

Morrison is switching because of a couple of reasons...1. Money (his new deal is more than triple his current)2. The prestige of being the breakfast host (as apposed to being the fill in) 3. The Brennans think highly of him and along with P.Murray will hopefully deliver UE that younger audience 4. Does not have to work in the building as Ray Hadley !.

If the Brennans intend to clone 2GB it will lose them listeners. People listen to UE because it is a softer alternative to the windbags on GB. Jones is too much agro to handle at breakfast and Hadley in full flight is a truly frightening experience. The verbal abuse he dishes out to people has left me quite shaken and upset at times.

Jason Morrison is too similar to Jones. Can't stand Oldfield. Will not listen to either. I'd love to hear George Moore at breakfast or mornings (with or without Paul B). Their weekend show is very entertaining. Never thought Liebmann was the answer in mornings and can see the need to replace him. Love The Two Murrays and would like to hear them at night or in the mornings as a lighter alternative to Hadley. Paul Murray should be great on Drive.

If that is indeed the line up for next year, I'll be streaming radio from other cities via the internet. I don't like 2GB and I won't listen to a clone.

I think we need to wait and see what 'other' tricks the Brennan's have up their sleaves. At the moment it's just a game of 'going back & forth'.

First it was 2UE to build up and make big... then the focus turned to 2GB and the plan was to take everybody from 2UE over... now the focus is back on 2UE and plan so far is to bring as many from 2GB as possible.

... Speaking of under-used talent, I'd like to see Glenn Wheeler back at 2UE doing something bigger than Saturday nights ...

I agree with all of these points. The moment Oldfield comes on UE, I switch off. I think George & Paul should return their show to the afternoons on the weekend. I've always thought since they change in 2005 that they haven't sat right being on earlier in the day.

Heidi Tiltins just did a report on the 4:00pm news on 2UE ... (unless I was dreaming). If Heidi has gone from 2GB to 2UE, a good indication that husband Jason Morrison will follow.

Are you sure it wasn't 3AW's Heidi Murphy reporting on the Vic. state election? I've been hearing her throughout the day on UE.

Why is UE interested in Victorian state election? Is it because NSW will have its own election next year?

Maybe both long serving labor governments, the trend could be the same as Vic in nsw next year?

Probably ... sort of half heard it!
