Yep, but that wouldn't be too difficult.
BTW, when will we know how Jericho goes on CBS?

Why?

I don't know, I just like the idea of shows starting on the hour. I think it might make promos more slicker with less room needed for timeslot (OK, only a tiny bit less)

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 20
Though its new drama "Jericho" posted not-bad ratings Wednesday, CBS won the night on the backs of its returning crime shows. The CW also got off to a nice start, while NBC's "Kidnapped" struggled.
For the night, CBS averaged a 9.4 rating/15 share to beat out ABC's 8.3/13. There was big drop from there to third-place NBC, 4.8/8. FOX came in fourth with a 4.2/7, and the first night of original programming on The CW delivered a 3.4/5.
CBS also led in the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.2 rating. ABC came in second with a 3.7, and NBC took third with a 3.0. The CW, 2.6, topped FOX, 2.2, for fourth place.
The "Dancing with the Stars" results show, 10.2/17, put ABC on top at 8 p.m. The debut of "Jericho" drew a 7.5/12 for CBS. "Bones," 4.7/8, put FOX in third, ahead of the season premiere of "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. The season premiere of "America's Next Top Model" on The CW posted a 3.1/5.
CBS took over at 9 p.m. with "Criminal Minds," 10.1/16. ABC dropped one spot to second with a repeat of the "Grey's Anatomy" season finale. "The Biggest Loser" improved to 5.1/8 for NBC. FOX's "Justice," 3.7/6, edged "Top Model," 3.6/6, in households, but The CW show had more total viewers and a better 18-49 rating.
At 10 p.m., "CSI: NY" brought in the night's biggest audience for CBS with a 10.6/18. "Grey's Anatomy" averaged a 7.3/12 for ABC. The premiere of "Kidnapped" on NBC didn't abduct many viewers, coming in at 5.1/8.

It would make promotions easier and remembering timeslots easier. Like "Cold Case" starts at 9.00pm Monday on Channel 9. Just easier. I have no idea why they didn't do on the hour like America in the first place. Sometimes on the half is confusing.

So what happens to half hour shows, we just don't have them?

They would just be like in America for example 8.00pm and 8.30pm for say two - 1/2 hour sitcoms.

ABC loudly announced its arrival as a competitor on Thursday, as "Grey's Anatomy" unseated "CSI" as the night's top show -- at least for this week -- and helped the network claim a share of the ratings crown.
For the night, ABC averaged an 11.2 rating/18 share. CBS was a close second at 11.0/17 and actually won the night among total viewers with 18.08 million to ABC's 17.31 million. NBC came in third with a 7.4/12. FOX, 2.9/5, finished fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.6/2.
ABC claimed an outright victory among adults 18-49 with a 7.2 rating. CBS, 6.0, took second in the demographic advertisers love most, while NBC came in third with a solid 4.8. There was a substantial drop to fourth-place FOX, 1.6, and The CW, which posted a 1.0.
"Survivor: Cook Islands" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 9.8/16. A "Grey's Anatomy" clip show on ABC was a strong second at 9.2/15. NBC was third with season premieres of "My Name Is Earl," 5.8/10, and "The Office," 5.7/9 (which actually built on its lead-in a little in total viewers and 18-49). "'Til Death," 3.9/6, and "Happy Hour," 3.0/5, were fourth for FOX. The CW went with a "Smallville" rerun.
At 9 p.m., the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere, 15.7/23, scored a rather shocking win over CBS' "CSI," 13.5/20, which has dominated the timeslot for several years. "Deal or No Deal" was a distant third for NBC at 6.5/10. "Celebrity Duets" slumped to a 2.4/4 for FOX. A "Supernatural" rerun on The CW trailed.
Another medical drama, NBC's "ER," won the 10 p.m. hour with a 10.0/16. The premiere of "Shark" on CBS averaged 9.8/16. ABC's "Six Degrees" lost a big chunk of its lead-in to finish at 8.6/14.

Here's hoping Kidnapped and Shark can bounce back a little.
Kidnapped is a great show, but its lead-in and timeslot are crappy.
I will now use the site to shamelessly plug my own website and interests.

Good to see Survivor and even ER holding their own. Very interesting that CSI has been dethroned, it will be even more impressive if Grey's can keep it up all season.

As it did much of last season, CBS won the overall ratings title Friday with a night of premieres. NBC made it interesting, however, and eked out a win in the adults 18-49 demographic.
CBS averaged a 7.1 rating/13 share among households for the night to beat NBC's 6.7/12. ABC finished third at 5.1/9, and FOX and The CW tied for fourth at 2.6/5.
NBC, however, led the way among adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating, just beating CBS' 3.1. ABC drew a 2.2 in the advertisers' favorite demographic. FOX, 1.4, took fourth over The CW, 1.3.
"Deal or No Deal" led off the night for NBC with a 7.4/13 at 8 p.m. The season premiere of "Ghost Whisperer" delivered a 6.4/12 for CBS. ABC re-aired the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere. "Nanny 911," 2.6/5, put FOX in fourth, a little ahead of "Friday Night Smackdown!," 2.5/5, on The CW.
CBS took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 7.6/13. NBC dropped to second with "Dateline," 5.6/10. ABC's "Men in Trees," 5.5/10, held steady from last week despite increased competition. "Smackdown!," 2.7/5, moved The CW ahead of FOX and the "Celebrity Duets" results show.
At 10 p.m., the season premiere of CBS' "Numb3rs" posted a 7.4/13. NBC's "Law & Order" season premiere was close behind at 7.3/13. ABC got a 5.4/10 from "20/20."
