Dunno if this has been mentioned but noticed Nine at the moment have a Wide World of Sports HD watermark in the 16:9 safe zone on the Cricket on 90.

SBS had their previous watermark on Insight today, and the next program had their new one

NBN Gold Coast SD have reintroduced their watermark.... complete with "Gold Coast" so I don't forget where I am when I turn on my TV!

This time in the top right 4:3 area.

Still no watermark at all on the HD channel.

Not really a watermark as such but I noticed that the Nine HD logo on the Freeview website looks so much better than the one they use on TV. Why not use that as the primary one? Below is an example of what I am discussing (with lowered opacity of course - you can't have a white watermark... unless you are FOX).

flicked through channels yesterday and saw that 9 HD had the watermark even there still during an ad break :|

Seven here in Brisbane have a special 50 Years watermark.

I guess TVW 7 here in Perth may come up with that or its own 50 years logo later this year.

Both TVW and BTQ were launched around the same time... weird that only BTQ is getting the 50 Year watermark. Though TVW would aswell.

Looks horrid! I would have put '50 Years' on the side rather than the bottom, otherwise the logo is too tall.
QTQ Nine has the right idea though...they just have the words '50 Years' come up before the logo flies in and fades to a watermark.

Nine here in Brisbane now have "50 years" above the usual Nine logo. Obviously following Sevens lead

Dunno what is up with NineHD in Melbourne... yesterday no watermark at all... today there is just the normal Nine SD watermark...

EDIT: Now during Cold Case, no watermark at all on Nine HD
