What is with Ten having 2 watermarks on screen sometimes. The Sport one and the regular one at once right now during Oprah and it happens frequently overnight during Infomercials.

Do you mean with the old Ten Sport watermark from several years ago?

Sometimes, although this was the current one.

Were you watching on analogue - and if so was the aspect ratio 4:3?

I guess this has since been rectified by Ten? Was the Ten EPG during this time intact?

I know that ocasionally at around 1 or 2am, what will happen is that the Ten Sport watermark will appear during normal programming and continue till around 10am where someone at Ten will bring the screen back to normal. During this experience, Ten analogue will revert to broadcasting in 4:3 ratio, even though some programs broadcasted during this time are in widescreen and although Ten would normally broadcast these widescreen programs in 14:9 (with the two small black bars on top and bottom of screen), in these situations it would be broadcast in 4:3. Also, the Ten EPG would be replaced with a "Ten Sydney" title with description saying that the EPG is temporarily unavailabe and that for program guide details go to the Ten website.
I remember reading from someone saying that this was due to maintenance or something.

In Melbourne, C31 is using a "Fair Go Kev" watermark at the moment in protest about not being given a digital licence...

Thank god that Southern Cross Tasmania (Seven programming) doesn't have a watermark at all!! Yet!!! But they do have the Seven watermark when TT, SN and seven morning and arvo news is on and they don't make any attempt to cover it up which is good.
They are the only channel that doesn't have a watermark in Tassie yet.

One thing I have noticed about watermarking on Southern Cross Tassie is during the football on Saturday afternoon/night, the Ten sport watermark is left on well into the adbreak so a promo for Better Homes and Gardens comes on with the Ten watermark in the top corner. Haven't had a chance to cap it but it happens most weekends at least once.

Yes I've seen that, probably some glitch, me thinks it would be a problem on the Tassie side of things because there's been a sport update with the watermark and they are produced locally although it could be Canberra as they handle the promo ads.

Am I alone in thinking that the wording "Fair go Kev!" is a bit juvenile? If they want an impact and the chance for the viewers to actually do something then they should really come up with a better, more productive phrase.

Nothing else is working. Conroy continues to deceive and not come clean with plans for Community Television.

It's too big and quite fugly. 'SBS ONE' text longways with the little map next to it would look better.

Did a quick mock up of what the watermark should look like IMO.
