I think the watermark is effective as it is ... simple message, and anyone watching community tv will know of it's plight at the moment

Yeah, However the Watermark and Promo which is linked to it are done quite amateurish and id expect a much better work from a Year 9 student doing Media Production.

All i was saying is that even a Year 9 student could do better in creating/producing a C31 Digital Campaign.
Thats all i can say at the moment...Next.

7 50 Years watermark on TVW Seven Perth now. It needs to be realigned as half the 7 logo is cutoff on the bottom of the screen.

It would look better without it.. or at least the old style CBS HD watermark that rotated after the adbreak then settled to the regular "eye".

Also, a new (?) ACA logo (and the show is only SD?)

If that's the footage of the baby elephant being born at Taronga Zoo, most likely not - given that it's been run on every news service in the country, Seven will presumably want everyone to know where the footage came from...

Exact same concept as ABC having the "Insiders" logo on all their interview footage from that program - free publicity when another network uses the footage.

I understand why they do it but wasn't that on the News days back? Surely they won't be playing it again.

Most likely they did it on that particular piece of footage because they knew it'd be picked up by everyone else. YThey may not do it on every episode, but if they get a similarly newsworthy piece of footage, they'll do it again...

Yeah I heard that Southern Cross Ten are sent a clean feed and they brand it themselves. We had this issue on the weekend when the AFL was in HD on ONE but SC just put up "ONE LIVE" watermark instead of "ONE HD LIVE" which is what Metro viewers got.
