Thanks for the cap, Mathew. That's not too bad, actually. They've done a hell of a lot worse in the past.

Sorry if I'm going over previously-covered ground, but this is WIN.

They were probaly trying to cover up that poor version watermark that Win used in Victoria at times ( they had it on last night during the footy in Victoria)
We normally get the new watermark from n.s.w ( which is good ) but sometimes they have a different one which looks like it was drawn in primary school!
Anyone from regional Vic would know the one I am talking about

Well, they had the old watermark down in the corner, and the new one over the top.

Ah. That's pretty dumb.

i noticed last night here was a bit of transparency in that WIN sport logo, you could see people moving behind it

I really hate how they jack up the brightness and lower the transparency for sports footage. Seven and Nine are clearly the real culprits in this department. Ten's isn't so bad and the ABC's is pretty decent. SBS's is so-so.

I guess the master has had the old shytemark applied to it and the realtime new shytemark is being applied over it.

Interesting. It sounds like it works (from the comments there). This would just be computers with TV tuners, though, wouldn't it?

That would be right, but I don't really see the point myself

It gets to some people more than others. I just ignore it, except when it's the big floppy sponge watermark that the ABC has. :sarcastic:
