So SC10 will no longer get a clean feed for some programs?

Depends on where the watermark is added in the chain. So far, SC10's HD does not have watermarks still (on the HD programs it shows).

SC10 Lismore doesn't show any watermarks for the news when I saw it in January.

Watermarks are added by the individual stations themselves, which explains how Ten HD in Adelaide got the watermark first.

SC10 has never really had watermarks for the news, on Analogue, SD or HD. in fact, unlike with Win's feed of NNN, they can add their own watermark, SC10 | News, for example, but that would be crazy.gif

But SC10 Gold Coast carried a ten news watermark.

It seems to be depending on the markets. SC10 Canberra doesn't on the news most days.

Letterman on SD had the old Ten Sports watermark again last night for the first 15 mins. What could possibly be the reason for this?

IMO looks much better than the old one, yet it could be a bit more transparent.

Ten must be doing tests at time with the HD playout so that could be the reason.

Thats correct, because at this time they also tend to drop the HD feed, which albeit makes my Tuner do a rescan for Ten.. crazy.gif

Sounds like Ten is gearing up for a major overhaul. That or they are really slack late at night.

I simply assumed that is when they would be testing 5.1 internally.
